Abstract: 

Objective: To evaluate the Basic Life Support and the knowledge for the practice of nursing in the pre-hospital service with emphasis on CRCA. Method: It is a descriptive and cross-sectional study of a quantitative approach, which was carried out from October 2015 to March 2016 in the Mobile Pre-hospital Care Services (SAMU) and fixed services that are the Emergency Care Units (UPA). Sample which in the case corresponded to 245 nursing professionals Results: There were no excellent scores on the questions, two scores were considered good level on two questions, two scores considered on a regular level on two questions, 11 questions with poor level score and three questions with insufficient score. Conclusion: Nursing qualification programs for care are a way to approach their practical reality, improving care.
