Abstract:

Paracoccidioidomycosis is a systemic fungal disease caused by Paracoccidioidesbrasiliensis. It is the most prevalent systemic mycosis in Brazil and is found predominantly in males between the 4th and 6th decades of life.Due to the involvement of multiple organs and the severe sequel potential, paracoccidioidomycosis is still a public health problem and, therefore, is a disease of great importance to the dermatologist.Given the above, we report a case of cutaneous paracoccidioidomycosis, with the subsequent discovery of pulmonary involvement and associated adrenal glands.
