The objective was to analyze the scientific production on the risk factors associated with pregnant women with HIV positive. This is an integrative review, carried out from 2015 to 2020, through the Web of Science, CINAHL, MEDLINE, PubMed and Scopus databases. After using the established criteria and reading the selected studies in full, a final sample of 8 articles was obtained. Thus, two thematic axes were identified: violence against pregnant women living with HIV and their psychosocial status; risk factors related to pregnant women with HIV and vertical transmission, which were significantly expressed in the studies. It was revealed that HIV positive pregnant women are more vulnerable to intimate partner violence; therefore, they are more vulnerable to the consequences for vertical transmission. Therefore, it is necessary to adopt early prevention and intervention measures for pregnant young women to reduce risks in women of reproductive age and reduce maternal health problems.
