Neuropsychopedagogical therapy within the perspective of music therapy

This research refers to Music and its direct relationship with the Teaching Learning process. This work brings, from the ideas of some authors, the importance of using music pedagogically in school interventions aiming at brain stimulation, so that there is a development in the social, cognitive, physical and psychological spheres. The general objective of this research is in fact to understand the relevance and influence that music has in the teaching-learning process and its neuroanatomical relationship with the subject in training.

Perfil clínico e sociodemográfico de crianças e adolescentes acometidos por autoagressões na emergência de um hospital universitário

A autoagressão mostra-se como uma preocupação relacionada à saúde pública na sociedade, tendo o suicídio como uma possível consequência. Na pediatria, esses casos vêm aumentando drasticamente. Os jovens tendem a esconder sentimentos ou não usar exposição verbal para expressar seus sofrimentos, tornando-se um obstáculo na criação de mecanismos de prevenção. Este estudo buscou traçar o perfil de crianças e adolescentes com queixas de intoxicações e lesões autoprovocadas atendidas em um hospital do sertão da Paraíba.

Evaluation de l'activite antifongique des huiles essentielles de ocimum basilicum, cymbopogon citratus, eucalyptus camaldulensis

Le but de cette étude est d’évaluer l’efficacité des huiles essentielles de Cymbopogon citratus, Eucalyptus camaldulensis, Ocimum basilicum et Lippia multiflora contre trois pathogènes fongiques isolés des tubercules de patate douce. Ces huiles essentielles ont totalement inhibé la croissance de Ceratocystis fimbriata à 2000 ppm. Sur Macrophomina phaseolina le Banko plus à 250 ppm et Cymbopogon citratus à 4000 ppm ont totalement inhibé la croissance du champignon. L’inhibition de Pythium ultimum a été induite par Ocimum basilicum à 2000 ppm.

Number concept in students with down syndrome: strategies and resources

This article is the result of a master's research, in which the objective was to identify whether and how the elementary school teacher uses pedagogical strategies and resources to work on the construction of the concept of numbers in students with Down syndrome. The research was performed in two public schools, with the participation of two teachers, a tutor, and two students with Down syndrome. The research was designed toidentify, describe, and systematize the teaching strategies and pedagogical resources that encourage students to build the concept of numbers.

Acidente ofídico: plantas medicinais e práticas culturais de uma comunidade ribeirinha da amazônia

Os acidentes ofídicos são considerados um problema de saúde pública principalmente em áreas rurais. Na Amazônia, o problema é agravado devido às longas distâncias existentes entre os locais de ocorrência do acidente e o atendimento médico, que reforça a pratica do conhecimento popular no cuidado e o uso de plantas medicinais. O objetivo do estudo foi identificar o uso das plantas medicinais e práticas do cuidado utilizadas em acidentes ofídicos nas comunidades ribeirinhas do Município de Afuá-Pará, localizadas na Ilha do Maracujá, Brasil.

The use of emerging technologies and tax governance practices: analysis and discussion of models adopted by Brazilian Economic groups

This paper aims to identify the challenges imposed by technological evolution to the development of Tax Governance, understood as a vertical of Corporate Governance, dedicated to transposing and adapting its fundamentals to the area of Tax Management and Execution. In this mission, the methodological tool of the case study of two large Brazilian companies, Petrobras and OAS Group, present in various segments of economic activity, from Energy and Construction, and with international operations in geographic terms, was used.

Money laundering in Tanzania: legal and practical challenges

Money does not smell but the moral smell of money is concerned. At present, anti-money laundering measures have made it increasingly difficult the use of crime money that it may not infiltrate and corrupt the financial institutions. The threat of crime money has stimulated the establishment of laws and enforcement measures; however money launderers find still too many loop holes as a result the FATF secretariat issues annual report describing new methods of circumventing the anti-money laundering methods.

Psychological interventions and social worker support mechanisms for stroke rehabilitation: a review

This review critically examines the role of psychological interventions and social support mechanisms in the rehabilitation of stroke patients. Stroke not only impacts physical health but also significantly affects emotional and cognitive well-being. Psychological interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) have shown promising results in addressing post-stroke depression, anxiety, and cognitive impairments.

A educação corporativa como ferramenta para o desenvolvimento de líderes nas organizações

Em um cenário em que competitividade e mudanças são as palavras-chave, a formação e o desenvolvimento contínuo dos líderes tornam-se vitais. Uma forma de viabilizar isto é através da Educação Corporativa. O presente estudo parte dessa premissa e traz como objetivo central apontar a relevância da educação corporativa enquanto ferramenta para o desenvolvimento de líderes nas organizações. Para isso, foi desenvolvida uma pesquisa bibliográfica de abordagem qualitativa e natureza exploratória e descritiva.

Mulheres negras no ensino superior – um estudo sobre trajetórias de vidas de profissionais no sul do ceará

This article is part of the dissertation "Racism, Identity and Professional Training: life trajectory of black women in higher education teaching", which aimed to analyze the life trajectory of black teachers in the region of Cariri Cearense, in particular, the cities of Juazeiro do Norte, Crato and Barbalha. The research had a qualitative approach, having as methodology the oral history of life, being carried out through semi-structured interviews with the application of a questionnaire. 06 black teachers were chosen, linked to 05 Higher Education Institutions.
