The production of passion fruit in Mato Grosso is low in comparison with that of other Brazilian states and is insufficient to supply local demand. A key factor contributing to this poor performance is the use of mixed varieties that are susceptible to diseases such as Fusarium wilt. In this regard, cultivation of grafted plants would be advantageous in establishing healthy, homogenous and productive orchards.

Water quality monitoring is an important tool to recognize the potential and deficiencies of the aquatic environments supporting capacity. The objective of this study was to monitor the water quality of the Maceió Stream estuary, located on the coast of Fortaleza-CE. Were evaluated the following parameters: Temperature, pH, Dissolved Oxygen, Biochemical Oxygen Demand, Nitrate, Total Phosphorus, Total Solids and Turbidity. The laboratory analyzes were followed as proposed in Standard Methods (APHA, 2001), with the exception of nitrate parameter, evaluated by the UV Method.

The study aimed to characterize and associate the sociodemographic and economic aspects and the consumption of cariogenic foods by Brazilian and foreign academics from a Brazilian university of an international character in different semesters of the undergraduate course. This is a cross-sectional analytical observational study with a quantitative approach carried out with Brazilian and foreign academics from an international university. After consenting, students answered a questionnaire.

O presente artigo tem como proposta discutir sobre a possibilidade do Contrato Organizativo de Ação Pública de Ensino-Saúde, o COAPES, ser um dos caminhos democráticos e seguros para se organizar os campos de estágio em qualquer circunstância. Sabemos que os municípios que contam com essa iniciativa possibilitam um melhor entendimento de todos os atores neste processo quanto à sua participação e a sua contrapartida.

O presente artigo se propõe aanalisar os impactos das novas morfologias do trabalho na sociedade e, sobretudo, identificar formas de regulação capazes de assegurar inclusão social e trabalho digno para as modalidades de trabalho derivadas do uso de tecnologias. A pesquisa destaca o conflito entre os interesses do mercado e dos trabalhadores e a importância da regulação do Estado sobre as relações de trabalho por plataformas digitais como mecanismo de garantia de um patamar civilizatório mínimo de direitos para essas novas morfologias do trabalho.

Abordamos aspectos pedagógicos da formação policial militar e sua relação com a democracia. O mote foi a Lei 1.036/2008, que definiu o sistema de ensino da Polícia Militar de São Paulo, em diálogo com o Parecer 945/2019 do Conselho Nacional de Educação, que trata das Ciências Policiais. Foram utilizados referenciais teóricos sobre violência policial, currículo, profissionalização docente, particularmente escritos sobre a embrionária ciências policiais, considerando que a polícia é um serviço público essencial e emergencial.

The present study sought to develop an intervention for muscle and tendon strengthening, analyze and discuss the importance of the role of Physical Education professional in the recovery of sports injuries. It was a semi-experimental Case Study. Considering the total rupture of the Achilles tendon, the patient underwent a pre- and post-test evaluation and a sequence of training, recovery and strengthening of the lower limbs. This research analyzed the importance of applying a post-surgical rehabilitation program with strengthening exercises in patients with total Achilles tendon injuries.

The Brazilian territory of the Legal Amazon is historically endemic for malaria, an acute febrile illness whose etiological agents are the parasitic protist (Plasmodium spp.).The research analyzed the epidemiological situation of malaria in the federative units of the Amazon region, from 2010 to 2019. This is a descriptive study, where the epidemiological indicators were obtained from the available database: Ministry of Health and Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics.

A educação superior no Brasil tem como meta do Plano Nacional de Educação elevar a escolaridade média da população de 18 a 29 anos, com a expansão do ensino superior. Diante deste cenário, a educação a distância (EAD) possui um papel importante para a disseminação do conhecimento no país, elevando nossos indicadores educacionais.
