Objetivou-se avaliar o controle de plantas daninhas na cultura do milho verde utilizando leguminosas como cobertura do solo em comparação ao sistema convencional de manejo. O experimento foi conduzido no Instituto Federal de Roraima/IFRR -Campus Novo Paraíso, em delineamento experimental em blocos ao acaso, com quatro tratamentos e cinco repetições. Aárea foi preparada mecanicamente, corrigida e adubada de acordo com as recomendações para a cultura do milho. O plantio foi realizado no espaçamento de 0,9m entre linhas e 4 sementes por metro linear, utilizado sementes do híbrido AG 105.

Osteosarcoma is a primary malignant mesenchymal tumor, often diagnosed in canines. The aim of this report is to describe the palliative approach used in a canine patient with osteosarcoma in the distal humerus and proximal radioulna. An 11-year-old Labrador canine was seen, diagnosed with arthrosis, treated with chondroitin, omega 3, and carprofen in acute crises. On physical/orthopedic examination, claudication of the forelimb limb, increased volume, crepitation and instability in the right humerus-radioulnar joint were identified.

The admission to Higher Education represents an important stage for the personal, social and professional evolution of the human being. It is about a quantitative, cross-sectional study and questions that include qualitative aspects. The study was carried out with 103 active adults in higher education, belonging to undergraduate courses. The collections of the data occurred through a sociodemographic form.

A equipe de enfermagem que atua em UTI possui uma rotina ligada diretamente com pacientes graves, podendo observar, constantemente, situações da morte. Consequentemente, a isto podem apresentar diversos sentimento em relação às perdas. Nesse contexto, o presente estudo tem como objetivo realizar um levantamento sobre a percepção de profissionais de enfermagem, a respeito da morte, no contexto da UTI. Para tanto, utilizou-se como método, um estudo descritivo e exploratório com abordagem qualitativa de dados.

Critérios de inclusão: artigos completos, publicados entre 2011 e 2020, em português, inglês e espanhol. 20 artigos foram incluídos na análise quantitativa final.
