Total reflection investigation with negative and near zero magnetic permeability along the visible light range and all negative values of magnetic permeability along the blue light range with total reflection

In this study, total reflection through a slab of vacuum and mercury nano-particle is achieved with negative and near zero magnetic permeability. It is shown that this new design of metamaterial act as an excellent reflector which could be used in many applications. This paper also shows that this optical mirror has negative values for magnetic permeability in the blue range of the visible light and total reflection in this range is achieved.

Using manure (organic matter) as a means of yield increase in rice (oryza sativa) production in ganye northern guinea savannah zone of Nigeria

The field experiment was conducted during 2016 off season using irrigation at Dingam village in Gurumpawo district of Ganye Local Government of Adamawa State, Dingam, Northern Guinea Savannah zone of Nigeria. It was conducted using manure (organic matter) to determine the yield of rice (Oryza sativa). Cianjust pandanwangi (CP) a dwarf cultivar with short grain which is commonly grown in the area. Rainfall range in the area is 757 – 1100mm/annum and temperature ranges from 15.20C – 36.70C.

Effects of sowing date on sunflower (helianthisannuus l.) yield and yield components under rainfed conditions in blue nile state,

A field trial was conducted for two consecutive seasons (2014/15 and 2015/16) at Al- Damazin Agricultural Research Station Farm, Damazin, Sudan, located at longitude 34°22’ E, latitude 11°47’ N and altitude 470 m. The objective of this study is to determine the optimum sowing date for sunflower under rainfed conditions in Blue Nile State, Sudan. The experimental materials consisted of one sunflower hybrid (Sirena cultivar) and four sowing dates late-July (22 and 24 July), early August (1 and 3 August), mid-August (11 and 13 August) and late August (21 and 23 August).

Effect of different nitrogen sources on growth and yield of rice

A study was conducted during the rainy (kharif) season to know the effect of different source of nitrogen on growth and yield of rice cv. GR 11, under North Konkan coastal zone of Maharashtra. Different fertilizers were used as source of nitrogen with or without coating. Four different treatments viz., urea coated with Makeup, neem coated urea, DAP and urea (non-coated) as control were evaluated in four replication in randomize block design. Results showed that growth attributes like maximum plant height, root length, panicle length, highest no.

Mitotic effect of alcohol and petroleum ether extract of the stem of boerhaavia diffusa l. on root meristem of allium cepa l.

Boerhaavia diffusa L. is a perennial creeping weed contains 15 amino acids, including 6 essential aminoacids and a large number of such compounds as flavonoids, alkaloids, steroids, triterpenoids, lipids, lignins, carbohydrates, proteins, and glycoproteins. The concentrations are set as 0.05%, 0.1%, 0.15% and 0.2 % using petroleum ether and ethyl alcohol extract of stem. The duration of the treatment is 30 minutes prior to mitotic peak. The mitotic index and index of various stages of mitosis are scored along with the number of abnormal cells.

Quantil regression of eariable coefficient single index can be added model with longitudinal data

In this paper, we consider the problem of quantile regression for the variable-coefficient single-index model which can be added to the vertical data. An estimating method is used to estimate the variable-coefficient single-scale model, and the unknown function is obtained. In this paper, we use the method of simulation to illustrate the validity of the proposed method and the validity of the proposed method. In some cases, we prove that the obtained quantile estimate has progressive normality In addition, Practicality.

Assessment of health and social challenges of street children in enugu urban, southeast

Background: Street Children Phenomenon is global, escalating and becoming public health concern, especially in developing countries including Nigeria. In Enugu urban, it is common to see children loitering about, hawking or doing some other menial tasks with or without consent of parents or guardians. Obviously these tasks are fraught with diverse risks and challenges. Therefore, there is need to study these children with view of harnessing and planning for them today through appropriate intervention for a better tomorrow.

Effect of organic and inorganic sources of nutrients on yield and yield attributes and nutrient uptake in maize

Experiment was conducted in plot No. 126 of E block, Main Agricultural Research Station (MARS), University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad during kharif, 2011. The geographical co-ordinates of the experimental site are 15026' N latitude and 75007'E longitude and an altitude of 678 m above mean sea level (MSL). Grain yield was significantly influenced by the application of organic and inorganic sources of nutrients.

Activity limitation and participation restriction of communication skills in vocational training of adults with intellectual disability

Aim:- The study evaluated communication skills of adults with intellectual disability pursuing vocational training. In specific terms, the issues addressed were whether communication skills vary with severity of retardation and whether communication skills impact nature of vocational trade. Method: - The International Classification of Functioning (ICF) framework was used to answer these research questions. The data was obtained in 62 adults with mild and moderate intellectual disability aged 18-30 years.
