Social reinsertion and the perception of positive impacts: a case study in the arcoverde forum, Pernambuco, Brazil

Sustainability must not be understood only as an issue of environmental preservation, but must encompass other aspects, consolidating a holistic view. Thus, it is understood that the concepts of social reintegration must be broad enough to encompass the various dimensions of sustainability. On the other hand, it is notable that awareness and sensitization is the best way for society to engage in the search for sustainable development, which is the way out to preserve current natural resources for the preservation of the lives of current and future generations.

Dedifferentiation of leaf cells and growth pattern of calluses of capsicum frutescens cv. stromboli

In vitro cell suspension cultivation systems have been largely reported as safe and standardized methods of production of secondary metabolites with medicinal and agricultural interest. Capsicum frutescensis one of the most widely grown vegetable in the world and its biological activities have been demonstrated against insects, fungi, bacteria and other groups of organisms. The objective of this study was to establish a protocol for dedifferentiation of leaf cells of the cultivar C.frutescens cv.

Approaches to learning in the non-academic context: construct validity of learning approaches test in video game (lat-video game)

The subject-object interaction of knowledge studied by the field of learning approaches has been evaluated exclusively in the school/academic context. However, the field does not assume that these interactions are manifested only in this context. This article studies the validity of the Video Game Approach Test (LAT-Video Game), with the novel proposal to evaluate approaches in a non-academic context. The structural validity and its generality were investigated, as well as the predictive and divergent validity of the LAT-Video Game in two independent samples.

Experimental analysis of the reuse of waste from prefabricated concrete piles: case of a port work

Construction waste in large works is poorly studied. Port works have peculiar characteristics and it is interesting that designers have indicators of waste generation. In this work, the generation of waste from the activity of logging concrete piles and their reuse process was analyzed, generating indicators for the project. The research methods covered the quantification of the reuse of piles in the activity itself and the quantification of waste intended for disposal. Results showed that 49.2% of piles used leftovers, which represented 12.98% of the total length driven (242210 m).

Technological solution development for the cocoa supply chain

The objective of the present study is to present the informational and conceptual stages of the development of a technological solutionfor obtaining cocoa butter. The development of the product project was based on the Integrated Product Development Process (PRODIP); this model breaks down the design of the project into four sequential phases called informational design, conceptual design, preliminary design and detailed design. Small producers in southern Bahia were selected as a reference during the informational process, which ultimately defined the project specifications.

Use of the taguchi method for analysis of temperature reduction in the refrigeration Laboratory - Nutenge – Uema

The Robust Design method, also called the Taguchi Method, was developed by the engineer and statistician Genichi Taguchi to improve productivity and optimize engineering projects and products. Robust Design focuses on improving the fundamental function of the product or process, making projects more moldable and perfecting the engineering applied to it. It is a most effective method available to improve quality and simultaneously reduce the development interval for projects or products.
