Cuidados e prevenção ao suicídio em escolas públicas de teresina

The aim of the article was to verify the knowledge of young people from public schools in Teresina in the State of Piauí about suicide and prevention before and after the intervention. It was a quantitative research, through information collected by questionnaires applied to adolescents aged 12 to 18 years in public schools in Teresina - PI. Data collection was carried out in June and July 2020. Data analysis was performed using Microsoft Excel software, whose results were presented in the form of graphs.

Repercussões emocionais no contexto da gestação de alto risco

High-risk pregnancy implies a context in which the life and health of the mother and/or the fetus/newborn are more likely to be affected than those of the general population. Stressful events in pregnancy may affect the mental health of women in this scenario. It was sought to explore which are the impacts on the mental health of pregnant women and the repercussions of high-risk on other gestational psychological phenomena. In this narrative review, a search for articles was carried out, published between 2010 and 2020, on the BVS, PePSIC, SciELO, LILACS, EBSCOhost, and Google Scholar.

Reheat treatment: effects in supermartensitic stainless stell

Heat re-treatment of metals to obtain a specific hardness is a common industrial practice. Hardness, sometimes, is the only parameter on quality control to approve the heat treatment efficacy. This investigation analyses a sequence from one to seven heat re-treatment, and its influence on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the 13Cr supermartensitic stainless steel. Metallographic analysis, tensile and Charpy impact tests were conducted in specimens reprocessed seven times by quenching and tempering.

Nonlinear autoregressive neural networks for forecasting wind speed time series

Increasingly, wind electric generation is becoming indispensable to complement the global energy matrix. In this way, it is necessary to develop forecasting methods for this type of renewable resource, in order to guarantee the appropriate use to be compatible with the needs of the electricity sector. In this paper, two hybrid models are proposed that combine Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average methodologies (ARIMA) with that of artificial neural networks (ANNs) to forecast time series of daily average wind speeds from data collected at 10 meters.

Earth mortars: a vernacular tecnology and a modern eco-efficient solution

Earth constructions have been used for millennia by humanity, with an immeasurable accumulation of knowledge to be explored. However, in the last 150 years this material has been systematically replaced by chemically altered industrial materials that are responsible for great environmental pollution, inert waste generation and irresponsible consumption of natural resources.

Towards a sponsor’s role for supporting requirements engineering process in open innovation projects

Presently, globalization is causing companies to be more competitive, and one of the ways this can be achieved is through the use of Open Innovation Projects (OIPs). Although considerable research has been devoted to Open Innovation (OI), rather less attention has been paid to how the OIP sponsor deals with limited resources to implement the requirements of the OIP. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the concerns and challenges that the sponsor has in supporting the requirements engineering (RE) process to meet the OIP requirements.

Numerical simulations of kinetic combustion mechanisms of methanol and ethanol by rosenbrock method

In this article, we present the use of an implicit method for simulating reduced combustion mechanisms of methanol and ethanol. The Rosenbrock method was used to obtain the result with greater stability in the simulation of the ODE system obtained through the reduced mechanisms. In the numerical results, some simulations are presented for the reduced mechanisms of methanol and ethanol.

Perceptions of small and medium-sized companies about social media and business process: a exploratory approach

This study aimed to analyze companies' perceptions about the use of social media and models of customer service processes. Data were collected in two stages, June 2019 and March 2020, resulting in 182 and 256 respondents. The collection in two steps aimed to confront the data on the Sars-CoV-2 pandemic occasion, which forced an abrupt halt in the operation of companies. We conducted this study out using the quantitative survey method.
