This study aimed to investigate the possible processes of vulnerability and vulneration of adolescents, involving sexual and reproductive health. It is a descriptive research, with a qualitative approach, carried out in a public school, in the municipality of Macapá / Amapá. The study subjects were students aged 18 to 19 years, totaling 27 students, interviewed in August and September 2019. The data of this research was transcribed to the Atlas.ti® 7.5.4 software, which enabled the storage, manipulation and analysis, providing the construction of three categories - sexual and reproductive health: the adolescent's understanding; sexual activity: onset, age and contraceptive use; contraceptive methods: knowledge and choice. The study found that the beginning of sexual activity, among adolescents, is precocious and permeated with many uncertainties in relation to contraceptive methods, causing vulnerability and vulneration, as they are not provided with knowledge and practices aimed at sexual and reproductive health.
