Background: Although there are lots of seemingly malaria preventive options, it remains a huge public health problem in Africa and particularly high in Nigeria by virtue of its endemicity and topography, which have strong affinity with temperature and rainfall. Objective: This article described, ascertained the factors and made recommendations of malaria control practices to secondary school students in Amassoma community.

A violência obstétrica pode-se mostrar de diversas formas durante o processo da parturição e concepção, desde a não explicação e solicitação de autorização para a realização de procedimentos, até a injúria, exprimida por palavras ofensivas, ou mesmo impedir a mulher de demonstrar os seus sentimentos antes e durante o parto. Tem-se por objetivo analisar produções científica sobre a violência da mulher e do recém-nascido na obstetrícia.

O presente artigo investigou os dilemas do Covarde (Chicken Dilemma), do prisioneiro e da confiança, aplicado a negociações de gerenciamento de projetos brasileiras. Após criteriosa e extensa análise de conteúdo da epistemologia sobre Teoria dos Jogos, observamos um sequenciamento dos dilemas no processo de negociação múltipla, em alguns dos casos. Os resultados sugerem que a evolução da cooperação em negociações é possível em interações que perfazem jogos repetidos.

The present work aimed to characterize mangrove-derived actinomycetes strains isolated from São João de Pirabas mangrove in Pará State of Brazil and evaluate their antimicrobial action against clinical importance bacteria. Sixteen isolated actinomycetes strains were evaluated by their morphology and biochemical features and antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella sp. and Enterococcus faecalis.

In the present work was investigated nanoscale tribo-mechanical properties of martensitic stainless steel (AISI 420) subjected to nitriding by glow discharge (DL). Martensitic steels have been previously heat-treated in 1025 °C with subsequent rapid cooling in oil. The samples have been nitrided using the following parameters of temperature (°C) – time (h): 350/6, 400/6 e 450/6. The treatments were held in atmospheres of N2/H2 in the proportions of 20%-80% (in volume).

The Pereskiaacuelata plant has high nutritional value in its leaves, being rich in proteins, vitamins and minerals. The present work had as objetive develop a cereal bar containing the Pereskiaacuelata plant. The leaves of P. aculeata were dried and crushed in a knife mill and then the powder obtained from the plant was used in the preparation of the cereal bar, along with oat bran, rice flakes, sucrose syrup and honey.

The present research paper aims to study the effect of soret and radiation effects on an MHD convective fluid flow embedded in a porous medium with heat source. Dimensional non-linear coupled differential equations transformed into dimensional less by introducing similarity variables Time-dependent suction is assumed and the radiative flux is described using the differential approximation for radiation. The Galerkin finet element method is used to solve the equations governing flow.
