Os acidentes ofídicos são considerados um problema de saúde pública principalmente em áreas rurais. Na Amazônia, o problema é agravado devido às longas distâncias existentes entre os locais de ocorrência do acidente e o atendimento médico, que reforça a pratica do conhecimento popular no cuidado e o uso de plantas medicinais. O objetivo do estudo foi identificar o uso das plantas medicinais e práticas do cuidado utilizadas em acidentes ofídicos nas comunidades ribeirinhas do Município de Afuá-Pará, localizadas na Ilha do Maracujá, Brasil.

This paper aims to identify the challenges imposed by technological evolution to the development of Tax Governance, understood as a vertical of Corporate Governance, dedicated to transposing and adapting its fundamentals to the area of Tax Management and Execution. In this mission, the methodological tool of the case study of two large Brazilian companies, Petrobras and OAS Group, present in various segments of economic activity, from Energy and Construction, and with international operations in geographic terms, was used.

Money does not smell but the moral smell of money is concerned. This review critically examines the role of psychological interventions and social support mechanisms in the rehabilitation of stroke patients. Stroke not only impacts physical health but also significantly affects emotional and cognitive well-being. Psychological interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) have shown promising results in addressing post-stroke depression, anxiety, and cognitive impairments.

Em um cenário em que competitividade e mudanças são as palavras-chave, a formação e o desenvolvimento contínuo dos líderes tornam-se vitais. Uma forma de viabilizar isto é através da Educação Corporativa. O presente estudo parte dessa premissa e traz como objetivo central apontar a relevância da educação corporativa enquanto ferramenta para o desenvolvimento de líderes nas organizações. Para isso, foi desenvolvida uma pesquisa bibliográfica de abordagem qualitativa e natureza exploratória e descritiva.

This article is part of the dissertation "Racism, Identity and Professional Training: life trajectory of black women in higher education teaching", which aimed to analyze the life trajectory of black teachers in the region of Cariri Cearense, in particular, the cities of Juazeiro do Norte, Crato and Barbalha. The research had a qualitative approach, having as methodology the oral history of life, being carried out through semi-structured interviews with the application of a questionnaire. 06 black teachers were chosen, linked to 05 Higher Education Institutions.

Segundo a Organização Mundial de Saúde (OMS), a Incontinência urinária (IU) pode ser definida como qualquer perda involuntária de urina que afeta principalmente as mulheres, muitas no período gestacional. A Cinesioterapia pode ajudar a melhorar o quadro clínico, reduzindo a perda urinária e os sintomas que a acompanham. O objetivo deste estudo é analisar os efeitos da cinesioterapia no fortalecimento dos músculos do assoalho pélvico no tratamento da incontinência urinária gestacional. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa entre os anos de 2011 e 2021.

Introdução: Parkinson é uma doença neurodegenerativa progressiva, com os sintomas: tremor de repouso, bradicinesia, hipertonia plástica e instabilidade postural, afetando indivíduos com mais de 60 anos, afetando mais homens do que mulheres. Objetivo: analisar os benefícios de exercícios de dupla tarefa na marcha de paciente com doença de Parkinson.

This study aimed to determine the effect of a high fat, high protein, low carb diet during pregnancy and lactation of dams and pups of Wistar rats. Female Wistar rats were fed either a control balanced diet (C) or a Low-carb, hyperproteic and hyperlipidic diet (E) during pregnancy and/or lactation period and the number, weight, adipose tissue and blod glucose from both dams (d) and pups (p) were analyzed. Diet E caused smaller litters and lean pups, without effect on dam’s weight gain.

Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC) is a neoplasm that most frequently affects animals with light skin and fur, with access to the street and that are exposed to chronic UV radiation, which leads to chronic inflammatory lesions. It is characterized as a locally aggressive neoplasm, but there are few reports of distant metastasis. Reconstructive surgeries are extremely important, as they allow a significant injured area of skin to be removed, and at the same time, this site is covered by skin from other regions, obtaining primary and faster healing compared to secondary healing.
