Modeling and prediction of mrr and surface roughness in turning operations using factorial method and regression method

This paper presents the findings of an experimental analysis into the effects of feed rate, cutting speed, depth of cut, and cutting environment in turning operation of Low alloy steel (En-353). Design of experiment technique, i.e. factorial method have been used to accomplish the objective of the experimental study. 23 factorial design with eight treatment combination used for conducting the experiments. It was observed that the feed rate and depth of cut was the most influential factors on the MRR and surface roughness.

Design of an over head plate gantry girder

This project deals with the planning, designing, and estimation of the industrial PLATE GANTRY GIRDER, located near Thuvakkudi, Trichy district. Overhead plate girder is subjected to various types of load. Girder is the critical assembly component of overhead crane. Currently research is being carried out to improve the strength structure of overhead crane girder. These new efforts help to overcome overhead crane girder failure.

Enhancing the gsm voice capacity using orthogonal sub channel (osc) technique in downlink transmission

This paper presents a study of the voice services usage over Adaptive Multi-user channels on One Slot (VAMOS) for improving the voice capacity. VAMOS is an extension of the Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) standard to enable the transmission of two GSM voice streams on the same radio resource using Orthogonal Sub Channel (OSC) technique for doubling the number of users served by one cell. The concept of VAMOS is based on multiplexing two or more users at one time slot. Therefore, it is a subject for this paper to consider the downlink transmission of GSM VAMOS systems.

Allometry and biomass accounting for mangroves kandelia obovata sheue, liu & yong and sonneratia caseolaris (l.) engler planted in coastal zone of red River Delta, Vietnam

We estimated carbon stock of mangrove Kandelia obovata Sheue, Liu & Yong and Sonneratia caseolaris (L.) Engler planted in coastal zone of Red River Delta, Vietnam. A total of 84 10 x 10 m sample plots consisting of 39 K. obovata at 1-13 years old, 33 S. caseolaris at 2-7, 8-13 years old and mixed species of K. bovata and S. caseolaris at 10-13 years old were established. A tree census was carried out in the sample plots. Diameter at 30 cm above widening base of trunk of all trees were measured.

Effect of an azo dye methyl red on lipid profiles in muscle tissue of freshwater fish oreochromis mossambicus

The present study was determine the effect of preferably used textile dye, methyl red on fingerlings of Oreochromis mossambicus as much report is unavailable on juvenile toxicity. Muscle tissue of fish were analysed for the effects of the azo dye methyl red, since it is a major target tissue for nutrient storage and is the main edible part of the fish. They affect the biologically active molecules like lipids. The fishes were maintained for a period of 40 days at two sublethal concentrations of the dye.

Floristic characteristics of the mosaic and how forest progress on savanna in the lamto reserve region (Côte D’ivoire)?

A large band of forest-savanna mosaic extends between the Sudanian (dry) and Guinean (humid) regions in West Africa and undergoes bush fires, agriculture and logging, in the central parts of Côte d'Ivoire, especially in the Lam to Reserve region. Former studies showed a remarkable degree of vegetation dynamics in this region with forests advancing against savanna. However, the floristic components of the mosaic and the relevant tree species involved in the regeneration dynamics were not identified.

Diversity assessment and expansion of odonata in narmada basin of Jabalpur region (M.P)

An opportunistic survey of Odonata diversity and distribution was done in along with river Narmada region of district Jabalpur to give updated list of species within the study. Odonata play crucial role in ecosystem functioning and can be used as biological indicators as well as potential bio-control agent of environmental quality whereas biodiversity protection and conservation is a national and international agenda and responsible for sustainable development of a region or a country.

Simultaneous analysis of diphenylamine and its derivatives by high performance liquid chromatogrphy

DPA and its derivatives always are present in propellants. They are very important components of propellants due to being quality measure of propellants. By the experimental study an analytical method based HPLC-DAD was established to determine simultaneously these compounds. All standard plot equations or standard plots of the HPLC peak area versus concentrations of DPA or its derivatives such as NO-DPA, 2- nitro –DPA, 2,4’- dinitro- DPA, 4,4’- dinitro- DPA were established. Besides, the values of LOD, LOQ of method were determined from standard plots too.
