As mulheres sempre foram subordinadas as vontades dos homens e tratadas como seres inferiores, tanto que, por muito anos, nem ao menos eram reconhecidas como sujeito de direitos. No entanto, após muitas lutas, o reconhecimento dos direitos das mulheres e da importância do trabalho destas vem ganhando força. Em relação a economia solidária, por sua vez, se destaca como nova forma de economia em razão de que envolve todos os sujeitos do processo, cuja efetividade pode aumentar quando utilizada em cadeias curtas de comercialização.

Introduction: The skin covers the entire surface of the human body, and is considered its largest organ. The resistance of bacteria to antibiotics represents a growing concern in wound infections, this is evidenced by the fact that wounds associated with a heavy bacterial load often present healing failures, increasing healthcare costs for the patient and healing time. Objective: To evidence through national and international literature the therapeutic potential of silver nanoparticle-based dressings in the healing process.

The Covid-19 pandemic has been a significant stressor. Understanding and assessing the impacts that the pandemic brings to people is a way to help professionals design mental health care strategies. In this scenario, research carried out with students is highlighted to assess the pandemic's repercussions on education. However, most of these studies investigate undergraduate and graduate students. There is limited research exploring the reality of students in Integrated Technical Education to Middle School (Ensino Técnico Integrado ao Médio - Etim).

Introdução: As deformidades congênitas dos pés possuem incidência significativa, com isso, é necessário reconhecer suas formas de apresentação clínica, já quecomprometema funcionalidade e qualidade de vida desses pacientes. Nesse contexto, o pé torto congênito é uma das deformidades musculoesqueléticas mais comuns ao nascimento e possui incidência de 1 a cada 1.000 nascidos vivos. Objetivo: Compreender as definições, características clínicas, diagnósticas, terapêuticas e incidência do pé torto congênito.

The present study evaluated a photovoltaic system with a tracker of two daily positions located at the State University of Ceará (UECE), Fortaleza, Ceará. A 50 Wp rated power system with a two-position manual tracker daily was compared with a fixed system at 0º in the horizontal plane. The results of the three stages of the experiment were collected in 16 days, in July/2021 and August/2021. Several data were collected, such as solar irradiation, electricity generated, and battery charge status.

A beleza é uma preocupação constante de grande parte da população. A busca por uma boa aparência não é um privilégio dos séculos XX e XXI. Estudos mostram que, há muitos anos, ser belo sempre esteve na lista de prioridades da população. Entretanto, com o passar do tempo, o padrão de beleza foi sofrendo alterações. O objetivo desse estudo é pesquisar na literatura disponível sobre a utilização de corrente elétrica como uma estratégia para aumentar o fortalecimento muscular em mulheres.

Bariatric surgery is an alternative intervention for individuals with morbid obesity, a pathology that compromises lung function due to its inflammatory and systemic character. As it is an upper abdominal wall surgery, it generates changes in the individual's respiratory mechanics, making it necessary to use Non-invasive Mechanical Ventilation. This study is a systematic review that aims to investigate the respiratory repercussions of positive pressure therapy in the postoperative period of bariatric surgery.

This quantitative descriptive and analytical study aimed to identify which sociosanitary and epidemiological factors are associated with the onset of severe COVID-19. Data from 2,702 Brazilian nationals aged 18 and over were collected online using Google® Forms from June 24 to July 1, 2020. Association between diagnosis of COVID-19 andsociosanitary and epidemiological variables was assessed. In all, 656 participants had had COVID-19. Cases were categorized into mild and severe, with 45.7% (300) of the cases classified as severe.

The main objective of this article was to investigate some facts, deeds, myths and truths about the Capoeirista from Santo Amaro, Bahia, Manuel Henrique Pereira, popularly known as Besouro Cordão de Ouro and/or Besouro Mangagá. To do so, we used the basic exploratory biographical case study method with a qualitative approach. As for the techniques of data collection and information generation, the interview technique was applied, always aided by the field diary instrument. Concomitantly, research was also carried out in public archives where primary documentary sources were consulted.

The COVID-19 pandemic impelled many universities worldwide to temporally shut the door on in-person education. As a matter of fact, some education institutions opted to keep up the remote classes. Engineering programs, however, rely on educational technology laboratories to conduct practical activities. In this way, virtual experiments and a remote laboratory for synchronous classes were proposed as educational technologies in the Mechatronics Engineering undergraduate program.
