The aim of this study is to analyze the pedagogical projects and course plans of technical schools in nursing in a municipality in Rio Grande do Norte, in northeastern Brazil. This is a study with a qualitative approach, of the documentary type. The research subjects were the documents called course plans and the Pedagogical Projects of technical courses in nursing, corresponding to the sixteen educational institutions. Five comprised the study sample. Convergences and divergences were observed between: professional skills, theoretical-practical workload and evaluation criteria.

Introduction: Although the World Health Organization (WHO) has appointed vaccination as one of the main prophylactic measures against infectious diseases, there is still a considerable number of deaths every year from vaccine-preventable diseases. These mortality data can be explained by several factors related to the effectiveness of these immunobiologicals, such as the genetics of each individual and the environment in which they live. Therefore, this work aims to point out some of these factors and discuss about them.

This research aimed to identify significant effect of using experiment method toward grade V students’ learning outcomes on heat transfer material in SDN Loyobohor, Lembata Regency. Learning method used in this study was experiment method, by giving students, either individual or in groups to practice doing experiment. Using one group pretest posttest design, respondents were given pretest before treatment and posttest after treatment. Result of the study showed that the use of experiment learning method toward students’ learning outcomes.

This article proposes a mathematical modeling for the temperature distribution along a surface. The model was developed based on the Fourier’s law of heat conduction and tested on empirical data obtained in 9 days of experiments performed on an indirect exposure solar dryer at UFCG (Campina Grande, PB, Brazil). The initial condition was considered position-dependent and the boundary conditions were considered position and time-dependent, as well as the heat generation equation added to the model to include the effects of solar irradiation.

O presente artigo tem como objetivo analisar o impacto da aporofobia no meio ambiente do trabalho como um elemento de estratificação social que impede o pleno desenvolvimento do trabalhador.Para isso primeiramente é compreendido o conceito de aporofobia e sua correlação com a estratificação social. Após, desenvolve-se o conceito de meio ambiente do trabalho e de sua abrangência e impacto no trabalho decente.

Aregulação pode ser definida como o processo de disponibilização da assistência mais adequada à necessidade do cidadão, de forma equânime, ordenada, oportuna e qualificada. Para tanto cabe aos profissionais auditores realizarem as ações de controle ao acesso assistencial e a avaliação e acompanha dos processos regulatórios. Objetiva-se com este estudodescrever o processo de implantação de uma central de regulação de leitos hospitalares em um município de médio porte no interior de Goiás e pontuar a importância da atuação do auditor neste processo.

A pandemia pela Covid- 19 é a maior emergência de saúde pública que a comunidade internacional enfrentou em décadas. Em consequência disso, profissionais de saúde foram convocados para trabalhar na linha de frente contra o vírus. Diante desses cenários, políticas públicas voltadas para saúde mental dos trabalhadores são escassas, resultando em problemas psicológicos como a Síndrome de Burnout. O presente estudo uma revisão integrativa de literatura que avalia o impacto da síndrome de Burnout em profissionais de saúde brasileiros durante a pandemia de Covid-19.

The number of bariatric surgeries performed in Brazil increased with 85% between 2011 and 2018. Aim: The aim of the present study was to evaluate associations between food intake and both body composition and lifestyle in the preoperative period of bariatric surgery. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted with adults scheduled for bariatric surgery at a university hospital in the city of Recife, Brazil. Data were collected on anthropometric characteristics, body composition determined using dual emission x-ray absorptiometry (DXA), lifestyle and food intake.

Introdução:Atualmente no Brasil as arboviroses – dengue, zika vírus e febre de chikungunya – representam sérios problemas de saúde pública, especialmente porque não se dispõe de vacinas contra essas doenças, o que, por sua vez, aumenta a importância do controle do vetor, o Aedes aegypti. A identificação de espaços de maior risco para a transmissão da dengue auxilia os estudos do processo de dispersão do vetor.

The modernization was accompanied by social and urban problems. The accumulation of waste in the environment, social exclusion and the need to obtain a source of income justified the emergence of professional waste pickers. Despite it’s importance, these workers suffer discrimination and risky situations in their work. The aim of this study was to evaluate the socioeconomic profile and quality of life of professional collectors from recycling associations in Grande Vitória metropolitan region, Espírito Santo, Brazil.
