The aim of the present study was to determine the incidence of fungi associated with the seeds of forest species. For such, we used seeds from Anadenanthera macrocarpa, Ceiba speciosa, Caesalpinia ferrea var. leiostachya, Mimosa caesalpiniifolia, Myracrodruon urundeuva, Amburana cearenses, Schinopsis brasiliensis, Erythrina verna, Aspidosperma pyrifolium, Moringa oleifera, Guazuma ulmifolia and Enterolobium contortisiliquum. Incubation on a substrate of filter paper (blotter test) was used for the identification of fungi.

Objective: A new pandemic was declared by the World Health Organization in January 2020. Since this event, there have been many concerns about pregnant women and those with other health conditions, such as infertility and endometriosis. The aim of the current study was to analyze emotional and psychosocial impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on female patients exposed to different health conditions.

Objetivo: Publicizar estratégias de gestão instituídas para o alcance de experiências exitosas no acompanhamento de pacientes portadores de feridas complexas que fazem uso de coberturas especiais, na pandemia da COVID-19, visando a promoção à saúde. Método: Relato de experiência, realizado no período de março de 2020 a fevereiro de 2021, por 23 enfermeiras assistenciais e três enfermeiras coordenadoras de referência de um distrito em Salvador-Bahia.

Os acidentes de transportes automobilísticos e motociclísticos correspondem as maiores causas de mortalidade por causas externas no mundo, principalmente entre adultos, sendo também um importante fator de morbidade, logo, configura-se como um importante tema de saúde pública que demanda atendimento imediato e de alta complexidade. O estudo propõe identificar a incidência de internações pelos acidentes mencionados, traçando o perfil epidemiológico, detalhando as vítimas traumatizadas quanto ao sexo, idade (20 – 59 anos) e incidência anual.

The purpose of this study was to investigate findings in electrocardiographic (ECG) parameters in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) based on Principal Component (PC) Analysis. This study was designed as a cross-sectional study of consisted of twenty-five men subjects 36 to 80 years with a diagnosis of stage 5 of CKD, selected at random from Nephrology Unit Hospital.

Introduction: Diabetes Mellitus causes several complications, among which is the diabetic foot, known as the presence of infection, ulceration and / or destruction of soft tissues. This condition is a source of suffering, causing depression and anxiety. Objective: To identify in the literature the meaning of the life of the person with diabetic foot ulcers, based on the philosophical theoretical framework of the Existential Analysis of Viktor Emil Frankl.

Forests are the source of life especially for the indigenous people, who are dependent on the forest which provides them with natural elements of life for their survival. Interference from the outside world especially in the name of development by the government organisations affects their livelihood and natural habitat forcing them to leave their lifestyle along with the depletion of natural resources and agricultural practices due to commercialization of forests.
