Heart failure (HF) is characterized as a clinical syndrome, in which the heart is unable to receive an adequate flow of blood to provide a blood supply to organs and tissues. It is also observed that there is an increase in pulmonary and systemic venous pressures. The main etiology in Brazil is chronic ischemic heart disease to hypertension.
The purpose of this case is to provide a descriptive report of a rare combination of Van der Woude syndrome, recurrent in three generations of the same family, in a female patient with bilateral cleft lip and palate associated with a sagittal craniosynostosis (scaphocephaly).
The aim of the study was to verify whether the FIFA 11+ injury prevention protocol can be effective in improving the physical capabilities of young futsal athletes. Thus, 20 athletes between 14 and 15 years old were evaluated before the pre-season and at the beginning of the competitive period. Two groups were randomly formed: Control Group (CG n = 9) and FIFA Group 11+ (G11 + n = 11) which performed an intervention based on the FIFA 11+ program for 8 weeks, twice a week. Variables were evaluated before and after the intervention.
This report is based on An analytical study of the factors influencing the purchase decision of a female in buying a Sanitary Napkins in Mumbai. In the last decade, consumer behavior has improved significantly. Consumers have a large range of options in today's competitive environment, where multiple brands market the same goods and many other factors affect their purchasing behavior. In order to accomplish this objective of the study, a sample of one hundred (100) female consumers were sampled.
Objective: To analyze the evidence on the main modifiable risk factors for complications related to peripheral venous access in pediatric patients. Method: This is an integrative review conducted in the databases: Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), Scopus, National Institute of Medicine (NIH-PUBMED) and Web of Science, using the descriptors: "pediatric nursing", "peripheral catheterization", "peripheral venous catheterization", "intravenous administration" and "pediatrics" in which 15 articles were selected in Portuguese, English and Spanish, from 2009 to 2020.
Objective: to characterize the scientific production about nursing care in the context of palliative care. Methodology: this is an integrative literature review and, in order to maintain methodological rigor, the PRISMA checklist recommendation and the flowchart were used, which presents the information flow with the different phases of the review. Inclusion criteria: articles published in full in the last five years. a search was performed in the Virtual Health Library (VHL). Result: the final sample consisted of 18 scientific productions, which enabled this study to be carried out.
Objective: To understand the relationship between the level of distortion and body image dissatisfaction of mothers and children. Material and Method: Cross-sectional, analytical study with 190 children of both sexes and ages between 7 and 12 years and their respective mothers by means of body silhouette scale. Data were collected in a Basic Health Unit in Fortaleza.
O conceito de TI Verde abrange uma série de práticas de tecnologia da informação com foco em sustentabilidade. Frente a esta temática, surge a questão: Qual é o atual cenário da computação verde no Brasil? Mudanças recentes na legislação sobre resíduos e o aumento da quantidade de lixo eletrônico produzido justificam este estudo para atender ao objetivo de compreender como o Brasil se posiciona em suas ações de TI Verde.
No Brasil, não existe um instrumento específico para mensurar o nível de conhecimento dos professores acerca do TDAH. Este estudo teve como objetivo realizar a adaptação da Knowledge of Attention Deficit Disorders Scale (KADDS) para a Língua Portuguesa do Brasil (KADDS-Br) e encontrar evidências de validade. Os procedimentos incluíram seis etapas: tradução, avaliação do comitê de especialistas, revisão realizada por especialistas em linguística, pré-teste na população-alvo, retrotradução e avaliação dos autores do instrumento original.
O objetivo foi analisar as evidências de validade da versão brasileira do Global Appraisal of Individual Needs – Short Screener (GAIN-SS) que avalia necessidades em saúde mental. É um Estudo metodológico psicométrico conduzido com 460 pessoas, por meio de entrevistas em Unidades Básicas de Saúde. A análise fatorial exploratória e confirmatória com Modelagem de Equações Estruturais foi usada para validade de constructo e para a consistência interna foi usado Alpha de Cronbach e a Confiabilidade Composta (CC).
