Introduction: inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) correspond to a group of immune-mediated chronic inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract of unknown causes on genetically predisposed individuals. In this group are heterogeneous diseases that affect the mucosa of the gastrointestinal tract, being more common Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Material and Methods: this is a descriptive study of the sectional type, of documentary nature.

Objective: to evaluate the perception of people with HIV about knowledge, attitudes and preventive practices about warning signs for Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) and cardiovascular risk factors. Methods: cross-sectional study conducted in a Specialized Care Service (SAE) for people with HIV in a hospital in the city of Jataí-GO, Mid-West, Brazil. A questionnaire with open and closed questions was used. Bivariate analysis stratified by sex was performed to check the factors associated with warning signs of Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) and cardiovascular risk factors.

Long-lasting insecticidal nets (LLINs) have been advocated as an effective tool against malaria transmission. However, the success of this intervention depends largely on knowledge of correct use and practices regarding malaria and its prevention. Few studies have been carried out on knowledge of the correct use of LLINs and practices regarding the correct use of LLINs in relation to malaria morbidity in children under 5 years of age.
