Background: The Hearing Conservation Program (HCP) has been reported to be effective in protecting the hearing of South African workers who are exposed to occupational noise. In order to reduce noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) among employees, a multi-disciplinary team approach that includes the Occupational Health Nurse Practitioners (OHNPs) during implementation of the hearing conservation program is needed.

This article critically examines the efficiency and effectiveness of patient treatment processes in medical clinics, focusing on key factors that influence patient flow, service delivery, and overall quality of care. By identifying common inefficiencies, such as long wait times, administrative burdens, and workflow bottlenecks, the study highlights the impact of these challenges on patient experience and clinical outcomes.

This critical review examines the existing quality of pharmaceutical care services, emphasizing the need for improvement and the potential strategies to achieve it. Pharmaceutical care, essential in ensuring therapeutic outcomes and patient safety, faces numerous challenges including varying standards, technological integration issues, and demographic disparities. This article synthesizes findings from a broad range of literature, including peer-reviewed journals, case studies, and healthcare reports, to outline the current state of these services.

Effective medication inventory management is a crucial aspect of hospital pharmacy operations, directly impacting patient care, safety, and cost efficiency. This article explores the challenges faced by hospital pharmacies in managing medication inventory and presents strategies to enhance the management process. The variability in demand, medication expiration, limited shelf space, and manual tracking systems pose significant challenges.

Background: Patients with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection be capable of a high risk for mortality from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‐19). Os recursos de saúde, independente da esfera em que se encontra, municipal, estadual ou federal, é uma importante ferramenta para identificação, descrição, priorização e explicação dos problemas de saúde da população em questão. A pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar a situação, de forma comparativa, dos recursos de saúde nos municípios de Pernambuco nos últimos três anos. Foram utilizados dados públicos disponibilizados pelo Poder Executivo Estadual de Pernambuco, resultando em 13 indicadores.

Objective: To analyze the prevalence of depression, anxiety and stress related to stressors, strategies for the prevention and treatment of injuries in health professionals during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted with 91 health professionals. It was used a sociodemographic questionnaire and another to identify the factors that affected mental health, both created by the authors, in addition to the Reduced Version of the Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale and the Event Impact Scale – Revised.
