Nimbidin–induced downregulation of TNF-α mRNA in human monocytes infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis

Tuberculosis (TB) is spiraling out of control at an alarming rate where reports implicate TNF-α to proliferate MTB 85B in infected host during early stage of infection. Reactive oxygen species plays an important role augmenting TNF-α, which in turn proliferates MTB 85B in bacilli-infected monocytes. Thus, in view of the above, an attempt was made to probe the antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects of phytochemicals from plants having medicinal value in combating TB.

Non specific bacteria isolate in reproductive tract of dairy cattle that experienced repeat breeder at ksu “tunas setia baru” pasuruan regency

The study aims to isolate genus of non specific bacteria in reproductive tract of dairy cattle that experienced Repeat Breeder at KSU Tunas Setia Baru, Pasuruan Regency.. Bacteria isolate was done using Gram coloring, Catalase test, Motility test, Spore test, further bio-chemical test using medium of TSIA, Mannitol and Glucose. Result of observation on 10 bacteria samples was Gram positive bacteria of coccus with white round colony and those that changed MSA medium to be yellowish 2/10 (20%) were samples of number 4 and 5.

The effect of an infant exercise class with parental guidance on tantrum levels

One of the areas that has remained unexplored in infant educational research is the effect of age appropriate exercises with a parent on tantrum levels and relaxation. Research has shown that baby exercises can have a positive impact on infants (Qing Du et al, 2015), however little evidence exists on how exercises impact infant tantrum rate and calmness. The setting of this study was Zumbini classes including 42 children ages 5 months to 60 months that have participated an average of 8.4 months in Zumbini classes.

Glicemic, lipidic and anthropometric correlations among mothers and full-term newborn babies

The study aimed to characterize the glycemic and lipid plasma profile of the binomial mother/full-term newborn, at birth and at six-month-old. Too it was evaluated whether the maternal anthropometric and biochemical conditions are correlated with those of the newborn babies. This is a quantitative, descriptive and observational research. Data collection with 162 mothers/full-term newborn babies at birth, in the maternity and at six-month-old, at the follow-up ambulatory, with 69 children, in a university hospital in western Parana.

The effect of pollution on hydrological parameters analysis of east kolkata wetland area

The East Kolkata Wetland is famous for fishery activities and receives pollutants like heavy metal, oil, grease, solid wastes etc. through effluent of different industries like tannery, electroplating, plastic and dye industries of surroundings and alters the Ecosystem. In this study all the parameters of water collected from different bheris and jhils like pH, TDS, TSS. DO, BOD, COD, turbidity, concentration of chromium and nickel was checked.

The perceived impact of workplace conditions and leadership in private colleges in muscat on teachers’ professional development

This study explores the perceived impact of workplace conditions and leadership in the private colleges in Muscat, Oman on teachers' professional development. Questionnaires and interviews were the two research techniques used to collect the needed data. Random sample including three directors of Language Centers and 64 teachers from five private colleges participated in the study. The findings of this study revealed that workplace conditions have a positive impact on staff professional development.

Giant fibro epithelial polyp of the vulva: a case report

Fibroepithelial polyps of the vulva are rare. These lesions are benign; with a rare risk of recurrence. The aspect has similarities with malignant lesions. A complete resection with a surveillance are recommanded. We report this case to discuss the characterestics of those lesions especially of giant fibro epithelial polyps. It's a case of a 34 years old female patient. She presented a large mass of the left labia majora measuring 20 cm in diameter. The lesion was excised, and the histopathological diagnosis was about a fibroepithelial polyp.

Deportation of melanoidin in distillery spent wash using bacterial consortia - confirms through structural changes and ao-eb fluorescence

Distillery spent wash maintains very dark brown color even after aerobic and anaerobic treatment due to the available of various organic and inorganic residues, obstinate and coloring compounds mainly melanoidin. In this study, melanoidin decolorizing bacterial strains were isolated and enhanced the growth rate of selected bacterial colonies at normal incubation temperature at laboratory conditions. The optimal decolourization of melanoidin was achieved at pH 7 and temperature is 37ºC on 3rd day of refinement.

Simulation analysis and experimental research on stress concentration of test technique based on initial permeability

Initial permeability measurement is an early evaluating method of micro-structure changes such as stress concentration and fatigue damage by measuring the change of initial permeability. The detection principle of permeability testing technology for ferromagnetic material was studied and analyzed. The ANSYS finite element simulation model was established, the excitation frequency parameters were optimized, and the changing law of the detection signal with the initial permeability of ferromagnetic material was analyzed. At same time testing platform for permeability testing have been built.

Study of effect of physical mutagensis on production of glucose oxidase in aspergillus Niger

Glucose Oxidase has get marked attention due to its wide range of applications in different industries and it is naturally produced in fungi, bacteria and insects where its catalytic product, hydrogen peroxide acts as an anti-microbial agent in food, diagnostic and pharmaceutical preparations. To meet its increasing applications of glucose oxidase, especially in food industries; large-scale production of this enzyme is possible by mutagenesis of various microbes including Aspergillus niger.
