Relationship Between Profile and Attitude of Farm Women Towards Value Addition in Vegetable Crops

In Indian society, farm women have multi-dimensional role ranging from agricultural and allied activities to domestic activities. India is the second-largest producer of vegetables in the world next only to China and accounts for about 15 per cent of the world production of vegetables. At present, less than 2 per cent of fruits and vegetables are processed, even as our county ranks second in the world in terms of production. The preparation of value-added products is mostly confined to household/village or with in the easy access of farm women.

A Review on Zingiber Officinale (Ginger)

Zingiber Officinale, commonly referred to as "Ginger" The plant's therapeutic qualities, including its anti-inflammatory, antidiabetic, and antibacterial qualities, are caused by a variety of compounds. Ginger has several uses in food preparation, medicinal, flavoring, and spices. Its pH range is 5.6 to 5.9. Old and rotten ginger is made to look appealing by washing it in sulfuric acid, which is highly dangerous to eat and can cause kidney stones, liver problems, stomach burns, and other problems.

Impact of Agricultural credit on yield and Income of Paddy in Andhra Pradesh

An attempt has been made to assess the impact of agricultural credit on yield and income of paddy in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. Andhra Pradesh is basically an agrarian economy and by producing one-tenth of India total output of food grains. Initially the agriculturists depend more on non-institutional sources for their credit requirements which used to squeeze the blood of the poor peasants by charging high rates of interest.

Digital Marketing means attracting and interacting with customers, and allows customers through the internet with the help of electronic devices/ digital media. The purpose of the study is to study the buying behavior of the consumer while purchasing the products as well as services digitally, to examine the perception of consumers about digital shopping, and to identify the level of satisfaction with digital shopping. This study has been conducted among the consumers of Ganjam District. The convenience sampling method has been used to select the sample.

Potential of padina gymnospora, an algal based formulated feed on growth performance, nutritional and protein indices of cultivable brackishwater fish etroplus suratensis- an initiative in replacing fish meal for sustainable fish farming

This analysis is to assess the potential of replacing conventional fish meal used in fish diet with Padina gymnospora supplementation under laboratory feeding conditions for 30 days on growth performance parameters, feeding indices, feed conversion efficiency and protein indices in fingerlings of Etroplus suratensis. Proximate composition, β- carotene, total carotenoids, vitamin E and C content of commercial control feed and Padina gymnospora formulation was analysed in control and experimental feed.

Performance evaluation of tilapia fingerlings (Oreochromis Niloticus) raised in land-based tanks during the fattening stage

The world population is increasing, and in order to meet the demand for food, viable alternatives have been found in aquaculture as a vital source of high quality protein, nutrients and essential vitamins. This research aimed to evaluate the performance of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) in land-based tanks during the fattening phase. Around 8500 fry were allocated in two rearing net enclosures each with 4250 fry, with an initial average weight of 0.2g and fed with commercial feed.
