The influence of photopolymerization time on the sorption and solubility of composite resin

The aim of the study was to evaluate the influence of photopolymerization, time of composite resin of the sorption and solubility properties of the material. It was used the Filtek, Z350 XT resin, shade A2B, the study was evaluated in four different timing of light curing (10s, 20s, 40s and 60s). Five resin discs were made per group, of 8mm x 1mm and prepared in accordance with ISO 4049. The water sorption and solubility were calculated using the formulas according to ISO 4049.

Chemical composition, antioxidant and allelopathic activities of essential oil of salvia officinalis L.

This study assessed the chemical composition, antioxidant and allelopathic activities of essential oil of Salvia officinalis L. Twenty-eight compounds were found (corresponding to 98.82% of the essential oil). The majors compounds were: camphor (27.59%), camphene (23.70%), α-pinene (13.75%), β-pinene (6.28%), and limonene (5.38%). Monoterpenes (68%) predominated in the essential oil.

How to use the approximate linear system distribution model in pendulum ocsilator (system analysis and control design in old clock tower watch): a manually simultion process

In this theory we see the behaviour of pendulum ocsillation. And see how the old scintist observe the clock watch time effectively. Here we use to calculate the highest angle amplitude to using the approximate linear distribution system with manual simulation system to find out the correct time period by clock watch.

Effect of water-cement ratio on the compressive strength of sandcrete block blended with sawdust ash

The problem of managing agricultural and industrial wastes has become a challenge in recent time. Therefore, research in the area of minimizing waste accumulation through reclamation and recycling has been ignited considering their aesthetic and ecological problems caused by the improper disposal. Areas of research aimed at reducing waste include the use of sawdust ash, rice-husk ash and groundnut-husk ash to partially replace cement in the production of concrete or sandcrete blocks.

Anomaly detection of multidimensional and non-stationary process based on q-filtering algorithm

In engineering field,in order to detect the abnormal change of data series in a multidimensional and non-stationary process, an anomaly detection algorithm based on Q-filtering is proposed. Firstly, the Q-filtering algorithm is used to process the multidimensional and non-stationary data series. At the same time, the outlier-tolerant covariance matrix is estimated. Finally, the detection index is used to detect abnormal changes. The algorithm is verified by simulation data and the results show that the algorithm is proved to be have high accuracy and validity.

Google docs: an effective collaborative tool for graduates to perform academic activities in the cloud

Academic writing, individual or collaborative, is an essential skill for today's graduates. Unfortunately, managing, writing activities and providing feedback to students is very labor intensive and academics often opt out of including such learning experiences in their teaching. Successful integration of educational technology is a complicated process that is influenced by multiple factors (Levin & Wadmany, 2008; Valcke et al., 2007).

Effect of temperature on removal of copper from electroplating industrial sludge via biosolubilization: kinetics and thermodynamics studies

The industrial sludge with heavy metal poses a severe threat to the environment and human health when it is disposed to a landfill site without proper treatment. In this work, the removal of Cu from electroplating industrial sludge by biosolubilization was studies using adapted Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans as the bacterial agent with due importance for investigating the effect of temperature. The experiments were carried out in 250 mL Erlenmeyer flasks with 5% (w/v) sludge and at the different temperatures between 27 and 39C.

Phytochemical screening and xrd analysis of momordica charantia

The aim of the study was to investigate the X-ray diffraction pattern analysis and phytochemical compounds present in fruit part of Momordica charantia extract with petroleum ether, ethanol and chloroform as solvents. The phytochemical screening of plant extracts revealed the presence of steroids, terpenoids, alkaloids, flavonoids, anthraquinone, quinine, phenolic compounds, carbohydrates and proteins. These phytochemicals have potent antifungal efficiency against selected infectious micro-organisms.

Ecommerce based online shopping for visually impaired people using speech recognition

For Visual impaired people it is difficult to do online shopping. We are developing system which helps blind people to choose color of clothes along with categories such as material, size, patterns etc. by using Automatic speech recognition module. It , translating of spoken words into text using deep learning method. It successfully replaced Gaussian mixture speech recognition and feature coding at an increasingly larger scale.

Repercussion of the pilates method on symptoms caused by lumbar disc herniation

The lumbar disc herniation (LDH) is a dysfunction that causes physical and functional limitations to patients, and may even be incapacitating. The Pilates method is a modality of physical exercise that, through stabilization of the spine, reduces pain and improves the quality of life of its practitioners. The objetctve was identify the repercussion of the benefits of the Pilates method on the symptoms caused by LDH. Study of the qualitative type; with a semi-structured interview was used, and the data were analyzed by the content analysis technique.
