The impact of pandemic in supply chain management in an electronic industry

The logistics, social and economic impact caused by the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic has unprecedentedly affected the supply chain of the electronics industry. Logistics was in high demanded during this pandemic period, and it was key actor for chain balance, even faced so many challenges. The objective of this case study is to demonstrate the supply chain of an electronics industry in the industrial pole of Manaus, evaluating the scenario before and during the pandemic, its main difficulties, from the shortage of raw materials up to the high costs of international freights.

Traços de personalidade na área de tecnologia associados a segregação ocupacional por gênero

The access and unequal positions of women in different areas of work have been objects of study in the last decades. Gender inequality in the professional field can be observed by stereotypes attributed to men and women, as occurs today in the technology areas. Therefore, this study analyses two personality traits, Assistance and Affection, among professionals from technology companies to understand if these personality traits, often related to the female gender, are right or wrong.

A quarta idade: percepção dos idosos sobre o processo do envelhecimento

O objetivo deste estudo é compreender a percepção dos idosos da quarta idade sobre o processo de envelhecimento. Realizou-se um estudo qualitativo, onde foram entrevistados 32 idosos com 80 anos ou mais que estavam em atendimento no Centro de Atenção Integral à Saúde do Idoso – CAISI. Utilizou-se como instrumento de pesquisa um questionário com questões objetivas e subjetivas. Após transcrição dos textos das entrevistas o processamento das informações ocorreu através da análise categorial de conteúdo.

Reading images as a possibility for scientific and visual literacy: a brief literature review

This research is a systematic literature review and aimed to reflect on the relationship between scientific and visual literacy, exploring them from the reading of images. For the bibliographic survey, databases were used with the following descriptors: reading of images; scientific literacy; visual literacy and Paulo Freire. The results showed that there are few researches with the aforementioned descriptors which are presented only in Google Scholar.
