Chemical profile and larvicidal activity of anibaduckei kostermans essential oil
The control of Aedes aegypti encounters numerous difficulties and the most relevant point is the resistance that the mosquito has been presenting to the insecticides used in its control. Among the products alternative to synthetic insecticides, essential oils can be highlighted. Therefore, this work aims to evaluate the action of the chemical composition and larvicidal activity against Aedes aegypti of the essential oil extracted from the bark of the stem of the species Anibaduckei Kostermans. The essential oil was extracted by the hydrodistillation technique in a Clevenger apparatus.
