Efficacy of preoperative dexamethasone in lower third molar surgeries: a systematic review

Lower third molar extraction surgery generates pain, edema and trismus as the main postoperative symptoms, which directly affect the patient life quality. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of preoperative administration of dexamethasone in lower third molar surgeries to decrease postoperative symptoms. This systematic review followed the PRISMA recommendations. The search was realized in the PubMed, LILACS and Science Direct databases.

Anxiety in the face of covid 19 as a determining factor for temporomandibular dysfunction

The objective of the research was to assess whether anxiety can be considered a predictor of temporomandibular dysfunction (TMD) in health professionals who were at the forefront of the fight against COVID-19. Monitoring of injected energy generated by an on-grid photovoltaic system via blynk virtual plataform with esp32

This Photovoltaic solar energy is obtained by converting solar radiation into electrical energy, and it has stood out among the most significant sources of sustainable energy. Thus is used in Photovoltaic Systems Connected to the Grid, allowing consumers who generate their electrical energy to reduce their bills through the energy injected into the electrical Grid. It uses a bidirectional electrical energy meter to calculate the energy flow. The development of an embedded system to estimate and measure the injected and consumed energies and the generated credit stands out here.

Carpal tunnel syndrome in patients with mucopolysaccharidosis: A literature review

Mucopolysaccharidoses (MPS) are hereditary and progressive metabolic disorders caused by inborn errors of metabolism (EM) that lead to a deficiency of enzymes that act on cell lysosomes. These enzymes are specifically involved in the metabolism of glycosaminoglycans (GAG), which start to accumulate in cells, tissues and organs. Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is a neuropathy caused by entrapment of the median nerve (MN) at the level of the carpal tunnel (CT).

Development of intelligent devices for communication and data pre-processing in the process of electronic meter testing

The main problem of the intelligent devices for communication in the process of tests in production lines that evidences and justifies the development of the research, meets the lack of communication between the various electronic devices, the synchronization of information through a system that allows support for decision making and the need to have this set of data related to production, process and quality as a requirement for framing the pillars of maturity of Industry 4.0.
