State of the art on the predictors of reduced capacity for work in Brazilian workers

Work Capacity (WC) is a dynamic process that involves an interrelationship between human resources and work and is influenced by various factors, especially the work environment and working conditions, as well as the worker's lifestyle. Thus, a close and complex relationship between health and work is observed, and health is negatively affected when work activities are performed in inappropriate environments, which can precipitate or aggravate the reduction of WC, which represents a measure of functional aging and an indicator of worker health.

Development of a mobile application for assessment of peripheral obstructive artery disease

Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) is a serious problem for the health system. It is expected that PAD cases follow the increase of the prevalence of diabetes mellitus, hypertension, dyslipidemia, obesity, as well as other conditions that are known risk factors for this pathology. The impact on health expenses as well as on the social security system is undeniable, not to mention the stigma that the loss of a leg brings to the psychological status of the patient.

Introdução: A obesidade é definida pela Organização Mundial de Saúde (OMS) como acúmulo de gordura corporal de forma excessiva. Obesidade e a sarcopenia são entidades clínicas distintas, mas que podem coexistir, sendo denominada obesidade sarcopênica, atribuindo impacto negativo em relação à funcionalidade e a morbimortalidade do que qualquer uma das situações de forma isolada. A avaliação da presença de sarcopenia vem ganhando visibilidade clínica por sua fisiopatologia complexa que parece relacionar-se com condições clínicas adversas.

Symptoms of anxiety and depression in climacteric women and associated factorsmental health and health conditions

This study aimed to estimate prevalence of anxiety and depression symptoms and associated factors in climacteric women assisted in Primary Health Care. Epidemiological study, analytical, performed with climacteric women assisted in Primary Health Care of Montes Claros and the coverage period was selected from August 2014 to August 2015. Sociodemo graphicquestionnairies, lifestyle, health conditions, obstetric characteristics and climatic profile were used. Anxiety was investigated by Beck Anxiety Inventory as well as depression by Beck Depression Inventory.

Father's perception about breastfeeding in joint accommodation unit

The objective was to verify the father's perception of breastfeeding in a rooming-in unit. This is a descriptive, qualitative research carried out in a maternity hospital in Fortaleza-CE, Brazil. Twenty parents of newborns who had started breastfeeding were interviewed. The study was approved by the Research Ethics Committee. The average age of the parents was 33 years old, they lived in the capital, and had 1 to 3 children; the newborns were mostly female and were born with good vitality, and breastfeeding started in the first hours of life.

Objetivo geral: Conhecer a história da Enfermagem Forense. Objetivos específicos: Destacar as competências dos enfermeiros forenses e a importância desses profissionais para a saúde e segurança pública no Brasil. Método: Trata-se de uma revisão de literatura integrativa, com abordagem qualitativa. A pesquisa foi realizada a partir de buscas sobre o tema no período de janeiro a maio de 2019.

Protocolos de reabilitação cardiorrespiratória em pacientes pós covid-19

A Covid-19, é uma doença infecciosa pandêmica, denominada pela Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS). As consequências na função física e na capacidade de exercício dos pacientes após o período de hospitalização podem durar após a alta da Unidade de Terapia Intensiva (UTI). Nesse sentido, as lesões afetam diretamente o sistema musculoesquelético promovendo um declínio na massa muscular e força articular e atrofia difusa da musculatura esquelética estriada simétrica apendicular e axial.

Educação permanente para segurança do paciente com tuberculose-drogarresistente: Revisão Integrativa

Objetivo: Pesquisar as iniciativas nacionais e internacionais de educação permanente para segurança do paciente com tuberculose drogarresistente. Método: revisão integrativa da literatura realizada em seis bases de dados, resultando em 2.598 estudos dos quais 10 compõem a amostra final. Foi utilizada análise descritiva dos dados, empregando frequências relativas e absolutas.
