Parkinson's disease is a condition in which dopamine-producing cells in the brain die. Parkinson's disease symptoms appear as the amount of dopamine in the brain diminishes. Parkinson's disease is a slow-progressing condition with symptoms such as tremors in the hands, arms, legs, chin, and face that get worse with time. People may have trouble walking and speaking as the condition advances. Although there is no cure for Parkinson's disease, the symptoms of the disease can be alleviated with the use of some medications.

Introduction: Photobiomodulation Therapy (PBMT) can be safely employed in the treatment of liver diseases, such as Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD). Materials and Methods: 32 individuals with a mean age range between 51.03 ± 9.58 years, suffering from NAFLD diagnosed by ultrasonography, were randomized into 2 study groups: Placebo's Group and PBMT's Group.

O presente artigo propõe, como metodologia,a realização de um inventário como fim de registrar os sítios arqueológicos presentes nos quatro municípios que compõem a Ilha de São Luís, com a utilização de materiais e ferramentas de conhecimento que perpassam a identificação, o georreferenciamento e zoneamento dos sítios.

The Underground Railroad was not underground, and it was not a railroad. According to legend, it got its name around 1831 when a slave named Tice Davids escaped from Kentucky to the free state of Ohio. His owner searched a long time, but never found him. The owner finally gave up, saying the slave must have escaped on “an underground road. ”The objective of this paper is to emphasize the use of symbols as means of communication to help runaways travel to Canada or elsewhere for freedom. Because of the nature of the topic, historicism appears to be the most appropriate theory applied.

The international road transport of goods, which accounts for 90% of trade in West Africa, should be an essential sector for the strengthening of regional integration in the area of the West African Economic Monetary Union (WAEMU).This article therefore aims to analyze the roles of the main actors in the road transit of goods from Mali and Niger via Burkina Faso in relation to the process of regional integration.

Introdução: Na área da saúde, a preocupação com mudanças no processo formativo tem sido pauta constante nos espaços de discussão e as metodologias ativas são uma das estratégias para o aperfeiçoamento deste processo. Objetivo: Conhecer a estrutura das Representações Sociais de docentes de graduação em saúde sobre metodologias ativas. Metodologia: Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva e exploratória, de abordagem mista, embasada na Teoria das Representações Sociais.

This study aim to scientometric analysis of diabetic’s research publications from the Scopus database during 1971-2020 in India with a total number of 19756 research publications. During the study period a maximum of 8323(42.13%) research publications are contributed in the block years 2016-2020. The relative growth rate is 0.86 in the block years 1971-1975 and 0.55 in the block years 2016-2020. At the same time doubling time found that 0.81 in the block years 1971-1975 and 1.27 in the block years2016- 2020. The maximum of 15778(79.86%) research publications are contributed by article.

O objetivo desse caso clínico foi demonstrar o procedimento de remoção do retentor intrarradicular de fibra de vidro (PFV) do elemento 25, que havia fraturado na região cervical do dente, com auxílio de guia Endoguide. Foi realizada tomografia computadorizada para a visualização da localização exata do PFV e verificar a existência de mais de um canal. Como o PFV é difícil ser visualizado dentro do canal, foi proposto o conceito Endoguide para auxiliar nessa remoção. Foi realizado o escaneamento do elemento dental, confeccionado a guia Endoguide, a qual foi instalada no paciente.

Objetivo: Verificar o conhecimento dos integrantes de uma comunidade quilombola sobre o processo da saúde e da doença em seu ambiente; Metodologia: trata-se de um estudo de caráter descritivo e exploratório com abordagem quantitativa. A população foi constituída por todos os integrantes da comunidade, formada por 1.500 habitantes.
