Ergonomic assessment of avodah scale management system interface quality: a project-based learning case study

This work aims to present, as a case of use, the process of the build of the solution of a system of generating scales for the Methodist Church in Palmas, called Avodah. Additionally, was apply ergonomic assessment of interface quality said system using the Nielsen Heuristic. The results get were used to improve the proposed solution, molding it to the needs of its users.

Impact of pesticide exposure: an epidemiological profile of rural populations in the central-west region of Brazil

Brazilian agriculture is the greatest pesticide consumer in the world. The pesticides used to control pests are employed to increase crop productivity and profit. However, pesticide exposure may lead to acute and chronic complications. The objective of this study was to identify the epidemiological profile of pesticide-exposed rural populations in Jataí, Goiás, Brazil. This cross-sectional, descriptive, retrospective epidemiological study was conducted in the countryside near the city of Jataí between 2018 and 2020.

Factors associated with early neonatal death

Introduction: Early neonatal death is classified as the death of a newborn (NB) from 0 to 6 days after birth. In Brazil, in the year 2019, data show that 52.14% of infant deaths were attributed to early neonatal death. In this epidemiological scenario, the contribution of deaths in this age group to the infant mortality rate is evident. Therefore, the assessment of this problem is essential to improve the health care of pregnant women and reduce mortality rates.

Submucosal injection of dexamethasone or betamethasone for postoperative pain management in patients with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis: a randomized controlled clinical trial

Introduction: We evaluated the effect of apical submucosal infiltration of dexamethasone or betamethasone for postoperative pain management in symptomatic irreversible pulpitis. Methods:Ninety patients with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis in mandibular molars were randomly divided into three groups after single-visit endodontic treatment (n=30): control group (CG) received a sham injection, while dexamethasone (DG) and betamethasone (BG) groups received apical submucosal infiltration of 0.7 mL (4 mg/mL) dexamethasone or betamethasone.

Registro online de informações no serviço de atendimento móvel de urgência

Este artigo apresenta um aplicativo para dispositivos móveis desenvolvido para automatizar o registro do serviço médico de urgência bem como analisar dados oriundos dos atendimentos realizados por esse serviço. Este aplicativo pretende evitar a introdução de dados incompletos e/ou incorretos, possibilitar rápido acesso às diferentes informações dos registros, como também facilitar a análise de grande volume de dados. Este aplicativo deve ser instalado em tablet para ser utilizado em Unidade Móvel de suporte avançado para o enfermeiro preencher os dados.

Pelvic inflammatory disease as a major risk factor for ectopic pregnancy

Introduction: Pelvic Inflammatory Disease can cause an inflammation of the acute or chronic type as a result of Sexually Transmitted Infections caused mainly by Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Chlamydia trachomatis. And since one of the consequences of PID is to block the uterine tubes, preventing the embryo from passing and implanting in the uterus, thus generating an ectopic pregnancy that can lead to the loss of the uterine tubes and even death. Objective: To verify Pelvic Inflammatory Disease in scientific evidence as one of the main risk factors for ectopic pregnancy.

O Controle de Constitucionalidade difuso é de extrema importância para o ordenamento jurídico brasileiro uma vez que a República Federativa do Brasil adotou o Constitucionalismo como base de seu regime jurídico. A metodologia utilizada para dissertar sobre tal questão foi a hipotético-dedutiva uma vez que se buscaram evidências empíricas para derrubar a hipótese inicialmente adotada de que o Controle Difuso só tinha efeito inter partes.
