Altruism and subjective well-being in the context of covid-19 pandemic: a social cognition research

This article was based on studies on beliefs in altruism and subjective well-being in the context of pandemics, in the context of Social Cognition. This constitutes a field of studies that investigates psychic processes and mental contents in the context of social interactions. The following question was defined as a problem to guide this article: what relationships can be established between beliefs in altruism and in the subjective well-being of people in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic?

The article aims to study children's advertising and the imperative of responsible consumption from the perspective of sustainable development goals, pointing out the need to find a balance between free enterprise and family protection, recognized by law as a hypervulnerable nucleus. We see as a problem the possibility of banning children's advertising.

Alta hospitalar pós transplante renal: percepções e sentimentos de enfermeiros assistenciais

Objetivo: Conhecer sentimentos e opiniões de enfermeiros sobre orientações prestadas a pacientes transplantados renais durante alta hospitalar. Métodos:pesquisa descritiva e exploratória, de abordagem qualitativa. Participaram oito enfermeiros da unidade de transplante renal do Hospital Walter Cantídio, em Fortaleza/Ceará. Utilizou-se técnica de grupo focal direcionado com entrevista semiestruturada para coleta de dados, que foram analisadas de acordo com análise de Bardin. Expressões não verbais também foram observadas e registradas.

Analysis of the m.a.c® healing acceleration methodology in a muscle injury

Overuse injuries are common in elite athletes. The repetitive forces of sports activities lead to tendon, muscle, cartilage, bone, and nerve injuries and poor physical performance. An accurate and early diagnosis is necessary to design an objective and assertive rehabilitation program so that the athlete can return to his or her professional activities as soon as possible. This is the objective of this case report that used in a professional athlete of the Fluminense Futebol Clube, the M.A.C.

Comparison between short- and long-term of estrus synchronization with different doses of pmsg in noemi ewes

Two experiments were performed on 60 ewes and 7 Noemi rams were used. Two and 4 groups were designed in Experiment I and II respectively. Each group has 10 ewes. In experiment I, intra-vaginal sponges, containing 40 mg of FGA, were left in the vagina of groups control and G1 for 5 d.All ewes received GnRH at time of sponge insertion and time of sponge removal; ewes received prostaglandin F2α and only PMSG hormones at the doses of 500 IU in G 1. Experiment II, the protocol followed the same protocol of Experiment I for control and G1.

Characteristics of aggressors and victims of bullying in studying in a public elementary school and high school

Introduction: the study aimed to know the characteristics of bullying in students from a public elementary and high school in a city in northeastern Brazil. Method: a descriptive study, with a quantitative approach. The Olweus Bully Victim Questionnaire (OBVQ) was used (victim and aggressor versions). Relative and absolute frequencies of all responses were calculated and the Item Response Theory method was used to discriminate the perpetrators and victims of bullying. The significance level was 5%.

Optimization method for the analysis of intermodal alternatives to transport soybean production in the States of Pará and Tocantins, Brazil

In Brazil, in particular, the states of the North Region themselves as new agricultural frontiers for soybeans. However, they need to be competitive in transporting production. In this context, this research performed an analysis of intermodal alternative routes using an optimization model based on linear programming, to analyze the transport network, plan the infrastructure and identify the best solution to flow production, in supporting of decision-making in the transport of soybeans for export.

Revelations of dependence of intergovernmental transfers by the municipalities in the state of bahia: an analysis with panel data

The disorganized growth driven by the emancipation of new municipalities generated a growing fragility in municipal finances, which, under the aegis of the 1988 Federal Constitution and Fiscal Federalism, have granted greater autonomy to several federative entities. However, from the fundraising point of view, many municipalities are still dependent on municipal transfers, exposing a distorted picture with a strong tendency to indebtedness and the presence of a public deficit.

Os bioaerossóis são partículas transportadas pelo ar, constituídos por bactérias, vírus, fungos e parasitas. A exposição humana a bioaerossóis pode causar uma variedade de efeitos adversos à saúde, incluindo doenças infecciosas, deficiência respiratória e outras reações alergênicas. Objetivou-se nesta pesquisa avaliar a presença de bactérias potencialmente patogênicas em bioaerossóis em uma Unidade de Tratamento Intensivo (UTI) de pacientes afetados com COVID-19.

Physical illness of physicians and nurses during the new coronavirus pandemic

The object of this research was the Burnout Syndrome (SB), a psychopathology triggered from a psychosocial phenomenon that is associated with stressors in the work environment. This research aimed to discuss the Burnout syndrome in medical professionals and nurses during the COVID-19 Pandemic. This is a systematic literature review with a qualitative approach, carried out by articles published in the Capes and Scielo databases, published between 2017 and 2021.
