The present article is the result of a qualification course in Professional and Technological Education (EFA) in Brazil, workload of 320/h, taught through Distance Education (DE), at the Itavianas Professionalizing Center, Uninter/Itapipoca (CE) branch. In these terms, this theoretical-methodological, technical-operational and ethical-political arsenal was substantiated based on the conceptions of Vocational and Technological Education (EFA) and its unfoldings in the legal system as a social policy, thus configuring itself as an inalienable, universal and non-transferable social right.

The Unified Health System (SUS) has the National Immunization Program (NIP), coordinated by the Ministry of Health, which has been consolidating itself as one of the most relevant public health interventions in the world. Created in 1973, in its 46-year trajectory, the PNI is characterized as an efficient public policy, increasingly impacting the profile of morbidity and mortality of the Brazilian population, adapting to changes in the political, epidemiological, and social fields.

Objetivo: Descrever as condições de trabalho nos cursos técnicos de enfermagem vinculados à Universidade Federal do Piauí no seu processo de criação. Método: Estudo descritivo com abordagem sócio-histórica de caráter qualitativo. O estudo realizou-se nos três Colégios Técnicos da Universidade Federal do Piauí. A coleta de dados ocorreu nos meses de maio de 2018 a agosto de 2019, por meio de entrevistas e pesquisa em fontes documentais primárias e secundárias.

Introdução: A ginástica laboral consiste em um programa de exercícios realizados no ambiente de trabalho com intuito de prevenção de doenças ocupacionais e promoção da saúde e qualidade de vida. Objetivo: identificar o impacto da ginástica laboral na qualidade de vida e na redução dos distúrbios osteomusculares relacionadas ao trabalho. Método: trata-se de uma revisão integrativa a partir de busca na literatura, as buscas dos artigos foram realizadas no período de agosto de 2020 a julho de 2021 e três bases eletrônicas PubMed, PEDro e LILACS.

This study aims to develop and evaluate the fruit nectar products in which the fruit juice and sugar were substituted with Aloe vera and stevia at various levels (treatment 1- 0%, treatment 2 - 25%, treatment 3 - 50%, treatment 4 - 75% and treatment 5 - 100%). Inulin was used for compensating the sucrose omission defects on TSS, bulkiness (mouth feel) properties of the nectar with numerous health benefits. The sensory evaluation of the treatments and their physico-chemical properties were studied and the well accepted products from sensory evaluation were selected for shelf-life studies.

O presente artigo tem como objetivo compreender a violência doméstica em tempos de covid-19 em Juazeiro do Norte cujo foco consiste na analítica do perfil do ofensor, no período de março a junho de 2020, tendo como ferramenta os prontuários (inquéritos) registrados e arquivados na Delegacia de Defesa da Mulher – DDM da localidade.

Justification and Objectives: Despite the strong evidence, several institutions and services still apply old concepts about preoperative fasting, subjecting patients to prolonged periods of fasting. Thus, in conducting this work, we aim to understand the main obstacles to the abbreviation of preoperative fasting.

Many patients with liver failure use antidepressants extensively metabolized by the liver, making them more sensitive to adverse effects. We aimed to assess the pharmacokinetic characteristics of antidepressants to determine the most suitable drugs in liver failure. Books and databases were used for research. The descriptors used were antidepressants, liver failure, and pharmacokinetics. 18 antidepressants were revised.

Analisar se a idade, sexo, estágio da doença, uso de prótese dentária, presença de disfunção temporomandibular, força de mordida, bem como lado de início dos sintomas são fatores associados à assimetria eletromiográfica dos músculos mastigatórios em pessoas com doença de Parkinson.Trata-se de um estudo de corte transversal, que utilizou o dinamômetro bucal e eletrodos de superfícieconectados ao eletromiógrafo.

Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) is a synthetic polymer produced in microspheres form, used in many biomedical areas. Objective: To determine the PMMA injections biocompatibility in striated muscle tissue of Wistar rats. Methods: In vivo biocompatibility and fibrous tissue healing were assessed by histopathological evaluation at 2, 4, 8, and 16 weeks after implantation in 3 groups of adult rats. Group 1, with 20 adult rats, was injected with 30% PMMA gel in the ventral muscle. Other two groups with 20 and 5 rats were studied as control subjects.
