Este estudo avaliou o desenvolvimento motor com a exposição ao mercúrio e o estado nutricional de escolares em duas regiões hidrográficas do Estado do Pará. Participaram 158 crianças de três escolas, duas na região do Tapajós (A e B) e uma na região do rio Acará (C).
O uso de aditivos alimentares na piscicultura tem sido amplamente estudado em relação à sua eficácia na melhoria das condições de saúde, manejo alimentar e modulações morfológicas. Baropodometric systems are using the area of Artificial Intelgence (AI), more specifically machine learning to classify type and step from data collected by sensors. We observed, in most of the works found in the literature, the use of MLP-type Neural Networks for the classification process, which requires a large amount of data and a high computational cost and processing time.
Seed mass is a physical parameter that, for many species, is directly related to the physiological potential of the seeds and, consequently, to the quality of the resulting seedling. Thus, our research aimed to investigate to what extent the seed mass can influence the physiological potential of the L. ferrea seedlings. The seeds were classified, according to their individual mass, into small (≤ 0.14 g), medium (0.15 ≤ x ≤ 0.19 g), and large (≥ 0.20 g). Initially, the water content and weight of a thousand seeds were determined.
Objective: to understand the clinical-epidemiological profile of admissions for pneumonia at the Júlio Bandeira University Hospital between 2013 and 2016. Method: documentary and cross-sectional study, with data collected from medical records of children and adolescents, being approved by the ethics committee with opinion number 2048056. Results: 599 hospitalizations occurred in the referred period, with a 38% increase in the. Male cases, of patients up to five years old, coming from the urban area were predominant. Unspecified pneumonia was the most common diagnosis.
This article deals with the actions of an educational practice in health aimed at pregnant women and their social support network, called ‘Pregnant Couple Meeting’, developed at Hospital Sofia Feldman, in Belo Horizonte/MG. The aim of this paper was to understand, from the perspective of the participants, the effectiveness of the ECG in relation to the preparation for childbirth and breastfeeding. This is a case study, whose sample consisted of 15 women and 15 companions. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and submitted to content analysis.
