UNVEILING PREHISTORIC HUMAN OCCUPATION IN BALASORE DISTRICT OF ODISHA, INDIA: A PRELIMINARY STUDY IN KUANRAPURAMAHAL REGION

This article presents the findings of a preliminary investigation conducted to explore the Stone Age culture in Kuanrapuramahal in Balasore district, located in the state of Odisha, India. The study aimed to shed light on the prehistoric human occupation of the region and provide insights into the technological, subsistence, and cultural practices of Stone Age communities.

INEQUALITIES AND MODES OF ACCESS TO NATURAL RESOURCES OF WOMEN’S HOUSEHOLDS IN THE TAHOUA REGION

The response to the harmful effects of the droughts of the 1970s was effective by the Nigerien authorities and development partners. The latter have carried out actions aimed at combating environmental degradation in the most affected regions. In Tahoua region, these actions aimed to alleviate the land problem and access to natural resources of households, especially women who suffer from inequalities in inheritance and lack of freedom of action because of customs, traditions and cultures which weighheavy on them.

UNDERSTANDING MENSTRUAL HEALTH: FEMALE STUDENTS' SOCIAL PERCEPTION AND AWARENESS ACROSS VARIOUS ACADEMIC STREAMS

This research paper aims to explore and comprehend the social perception and awareness of menstrual health among female students from different academic streams. Menstrual health is essential to women's well-being, and understanding how young women perceive and approach this topic is crucial for addressing issues related to menstruation in educational settings and beyond. The study employed quantitative data collection methods. A structured survey questionnaire was distributed to diverse female students across various academic disciplines.

PERFIL DAS GESTANTES SOROPOSITIVAS ATENDIDAS NUMA MATERNIDADE PÚBLICA DE MANAUS: UMA ANÁLISE DOCUMENTAL

Objetivo: Compreender o perfil das gestantes soropositivas atendidas em uma maternidade pública de Manaus Amazonas. Método: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo-exploratório com abordagem qualitativa, que analisou 61 prontuários, que representa 30% das gestantes admitidas na unidade para cirurgia cesárea eletiva ou que entraram em trabalho de parto. Resultados: As gestantes na faixa etária entre 20 e 24 anos, multigestas e autodeclaradas pardas, foram as mais incidentes no diagnóstico para o HIV.

SCOPE & CHALLENGES IN VALUE ADDITION & AGRO PROCESSING IN INDIAN AGRICULTURE

Based on the classification of the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, the value addition & agro processingsector includes dairy, fruit and vegetable processing, grain processing, meat and poultry processing, fisheries, and consumer foods and packaging, including canned food. India's agricultural production base is quite strong but at the same time, wastage of agricultural produce is also on a large scale. Processing in fruits and vegetables is about 2.20 percent which is very little compared whereas 35 percent in milk, 21 percent in meat and 6 percent in poultry.

Au croisement des méthodes qualitative et quantitative, cette réflexion met en relief des logiques d’actions d’acteurs de développement, pas nécessairement en phase avec les légitimes attentes des communautés locales. Se basant sur des données empiriques, l’exemple du dispositif interventionnel du CICR dans les espaces ruraux de Tillabéry, révèle l’inopportunité et l’inadéquation des actions de relèvement mises en œuvre pour le compte des communautés, pourtant en détresse.

PHILOSOPHICAL ANALYSIS OF SUFFERING, WAR AND ITS RELEVANCE FOR TIMOR LESTE SOCIETY

The purpose of the article is to explore the suffering experienced in caring for others, as a life goal and in the work of Simone Weil. As well as, introduce a critical reflection regarding to the real condition of Timor Leste society. For this, the methodology of bibliographic research was used, in her texts, letters and reports published in life and other post mortems by friends, at her request, as well as the reading of philosophical schools adopted by her and contemporaneously based on author scholars.

A DERIVATION ABOUT CRAVING FROM THE AGGAÑÑA SUTTA

The Buddha’s Teaching about craving leads us to understand the causality of natural disasters, environmental change, climatic change, and even religious beliefs, which are a great challenge in finding the method of solving. However, it is an ongoing process, as solving this great challenge requires immediate intervention to reduce and prevent further environmental damage is another factor in the problem-solving process. According to the Buddhist perspective, the craving (taṇhā) of people is the leading cause of this problem.

LATERAL THINKING AND SCIENTIFIC CREATIVITY IN STUDENTS: A CORRELATION ANALYSIS

Lateral thinking is an approach to problem solving that strives for creative solutions. Debate on whether creativity is the result of lateral or logical thinking, perhaps the most fundamental creative act occurs when we combine previously unrelated concepts, such a combination can occur when we think either laterally or logically. The key aim of lateral thinking is to deliberately and systematically create unrelated concepts forcing them together to see where it takes us.

LES FACTEURS DE L’INTRODUCTION DES MARCHANDISATIONS DES TERRES DANS LE MILIEU RURAL DE LA RÉGION DU TONKPI À L’OUEST DE LA CÔTE D’IVOIRE

Après avoir conservé pendant longtemps ses normes traditionnelles de gouvernance foncière dans lesquelles les transactions foncières étaient basées sur l’économie morale, le milieu rural de la Région du Tonkpi (à l’ouest de la Côte d’Ivoire) a connu l’ouverture du marché foncier au lendemain de l’avènement de la crise de 2002-2010. Étudiant les déterminants sociaux de ce changement social, cette recherche effectuée à partir d’une étude qualitative s’est réalisée dans le département de Man.Selon les résultats, le changement analysé est lié d’une part à son acceptation par les villageois.
