Objectives: The aimed to evaluate the fungistatic and fungicidal activity ofessential oils (EOs), against fungi that cause dermatomycosis. Design: The study design was experimental, with in vitro tests, with a control group and treatments. Setting: Fungal species Trichophyton rubrum ATCC MYA 4438, T. mentagrophytes var. interdigitale ATCC MYA 4439, Candida albicans ATCC 14053, and C. parapsilosis ATCC 22019, in addition to clinical samples of Fusarium spp., Scytalidium spp., and T. mentagrophytes were used in this study.

Objectives: To verify contraptions between late gestation and bioethical postulates. Dating violence is a phenomenon present in the relationships of adolescents and young adults, being considered a public health problem. The research aimed to know the perception of young university students about violence in dating relationships. Descriptive and quantitative study, conducted with young university students from health courses aged between 19 and 24 years. Data collection was performed by a self-administered questionnaire and data analysis was through descriptive statistics with frequency distribution and measures of central tendency and dispersion.

A sífilis é uma infecção sexualmente transmissível endêmica, descrita ao longo da história da humanidade e diagnosticada efetivamente desde 1906. Estudo comparativo dos casos de sífilis no município de Ribeirão Preto/SP, no período de 2010 a 2020. Objetivo: Comparar a incidência de sífilis adquirida no município de Ribeirão Preto entre os anos de 2010 e 2020, informar e conscientizar a população sobre a atual situação da sífilis adquirida no município. Materiais e métodos: Estudo descritivo documental, abordagem quantitativa e transversal, utilizando base de dados SINAM.

In the current scenario, it is necessary to develop sustainable constructive practices. The use of Construction and Demolition Waste (CDW) is an alternative to minimize the environmental impacts caused by civil construction, because, in addition to exploiting many resources, this industry generates a lot of waste. In contrast, it is observed that there is a decrease in the compressive strength of concretes produced with CDW. In this sense, bamboo appears as a possibility to mitigate these losses, in view of its high mechanical resistance.

Historically, youth policies in Latin America have focused on areas such as leisure and education, neglecting areas such as employment, income, and social sectors such as ethnic groups and rural youth. Therefore, this article seeks to understand the evaluation of the financing of social programs for Colombian rural youth through a systematic literature review. In this way, the research revealed that the challenge for the Colombian State is to trust youth, although it is an obligation of the national government and local institutions.

Clinical pharmacy is one of the areas in which pharmacists work that appeared decades ago; however, it is necessary to know the Brazilian reality of scientific production about it. In this context, the objective of this study was to characterize the development of scientific knowledge of clinical pharmacy in Brazil. To answer the general objective of this study, the following questions were used: (I) Which are the main authors who published in the period? (II) What are the temporal trends of the publications?

A terapia antirretroviral (TARV) está associada a alterações metabólicas que podem levar a síndrome metabólica, um dos principais fatores de risco para doença cardiovascular. Objetivos: investigar a prevalência e fatores associados à síndrome metabólica em adultos vivendo com HIV/AIDS em TARV. Métodos: Estudo transversal com 265 indivíduos infectados pelo HIV. Os dados foram coletados no SAE do município de Ponta Grossa – Paraná, no período de 2018 e 2019. As informações foram obtidas mediante aplicação de questionários estruturados, exames clínicos antropométricos e bioquímicos.
