Visual restriction on crawl swimming skill influence the variant and invariant aspects of swimming techinque

Perceptual manipulation in the visual field, when observing the effect of retinal manipulation, can be extremely important in creating changes in the swimmer's body perception and technique. The aim of this study was to observe and understand the role restriction has in swimming ability (Partial glasses occlusion - restriction in the body) and can influence the variant and invariant aspects of crawl swimming.

Inspiratory muscle training in patients with covid-19: evaluation of clinical practice

The disease caused by SARS VOC 2, called COVID 19, is an infectious disease of the respiratory tract and may vary from mild symptoms to conditions severe, requiring hospitalization hospital with significant mortality rate Physical therapy has the aim of limiting the after-effects of the virus and hospital stay, promoting functional recovery and optimization high hospital. The Training Inspiratory Muscle (TMI) is a technique physiotherapy c om order to strengthen and optimize the respiratory muscle strength and endurance through devices with resistive loads.

Benefits of cyber-physical systems for maintenance in the industry 4.0

The need to survive in a competitive market forces companies to serve their customers with higher agility at even lower prices. Industry 4.0 technologies enable faster responses and lower costs in various operational processes, including the maintenance area. Maintenance has a significant impact on companies’ operational costs, and a program that contributes to the reduction of these costs is the Condition Based Maintenance (CBM).

Effects of different types of cuffs for training with restriction of blood flow: A systematic review

Training with blood flow restriction shows positive results when associated with low training loads and similar when compared to high loads. There is still a gap in the literature regarding the influence of cuff sizes used in training, smaller cuffs require lower blood pressure levels to restrict blood flow in relation to larger cuffs, such a divergence can directly impact strength gains and hypertrophy.

Genetic heterogenecity of MTHFR C677T allele modulate hormonal dysfunction associated risk factors in the cases of male infertility

Male infertility is a serious problem in the developing world. Spermatogenesis is highly sensitive phenomenon due to involvement of environmental and genetic factors. The present study has been designed with the aim to evaluate the frequency of MTHFR C677T gene polymorphism, DNA copy number variations, hormone profile changes, and karyotypic alterations to evaluate the ‘risk factor’ in male infertility. Blood samples (n=72) were collected from clinically diagnosed cases of non obstructive azoospermia (NOA) and sever oligozoospermic patients with respective control.

Analysis of publications on occupational safety and health in waste management: A systematic Review

Population, urbanization and economic growth have caused waste generation rates to increase exponentially in recent decades. The inadequate disposal of waste as well as the disregard for waste management policies can not only cause damage to society and the environment, but also to workers who deal with different types of waste. The present work aims to identify the main scientific studies that address waste management linked to occupational safety and health and its main characteristics in order to understand which types of waste are most studied.

Antioxidant activity and evaluation of lysing cell efficiency from different fractions of lactobacillus acidophilus NCFM®

Several investigations have shown that Lactobacillus acidophilus has antioxidant systems, both in its whole cell and in extract of cell lysate. Thus, this study aimed at evaluating the efficiency of lysing cell to obtain extract of cell lysate, its antioxidant activityas well as intact cells, obtained from Lactobacillus acidophilus NCFM® cultures. Cell lysis was carried out using sonication and centrifugation processes, whose efficiency was measured by plating in depth after obtaining the extract process from cell lysate.
