Energy is essential to the society’s progress, and its efficient use is necessary in an environment with finite resources. The Brazilian industrial sector demanded a third of all energy consumed in 2017, while in the United States this share was 22% of primary energy consumption. The American government invests significantly in research and development to promote energy efficiency in all sectors of the economy since the oil crisis in 1973.

Objective: To describe to know them and nurses' practices on the use of Central Veined Catheter in a public unity of Intensive Therapy Neonatal, in Belém-Pará. Method: Descriptive and exploratory study with a qualitative approach. The data was collected through in-depth interviews, in the period of August to October 2017, with the sample of coexistence ten nurses who work in intensive care unit specializes in neonatal cardiology. Data analysis was carried out based on the analysis of content of Bardin.

The objective of this study was to know the adolescents' perception about STIs. Methods: a qualitative descriptive-exploratory study with 23 adolescents of both sexes, aged 14 to 18 years, students of the 1st year of high school. Applied questionnaire exploring socioeconomic profile, knowledge of adolescents and sexual behavior. Results: there was a predominance of females in the 14 to 18 age group, mostly unmarried, without paid occupation and Catholic religion.

The aim of this paper is to compare the care provided to women in the postpartum period among the regions of the country, using data from the National Program to Improve Access and Quality of Primary Care (Programa para Melhoria do Acesso e da Qualidade da Atenção Básica - PMAQ). This cross-sectional study assessed secondary data from the Primary Health Care Department, collected by external and nationwide evaluation of the first and second stages of PMAQ.

Objective: to identify the effects of demographic, obstetric, psychosocial risk factors and the effects of reproductive hormonal changes postnataly on postpartum depressive symptoms. Design: A prospective study based on questionnaires including special forma answered by the participants and scored according to the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) and estimation of hormonal levels {Estrogen, Progesterone, testosterone} postnataly. Setting: AL-ZAHRA'A Maternity and Pediatric teaching hospital in AL-NAJAF city.

Objective: To describe the performance of obstetrical nurses in the care of the parturient during labor and parturition in a Normal Delivery Center located in the municipality of Castanhal / Para, Brazil. Method: This is a field research, with qualitative approach of the descriptive type. Held at the Haydee Pereira de Sena Normal Delivery Center. Conducted with 8 nurses working in parturient care during the parturition process. The analysis was made from the proposal of Bardin.

Objective: To analyze the choices available in the literature on the role of nurses as health educators in primary care. Materials and methods: This is an integrative review study. The search was conducted in the databases, Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS), National Library Medicine National Institutes of Health (PubMed), and the Database of Nursing (BDENF). The following descriptors were used: Primary Attention; Role of the professional nurse; Health education; health promotion.

Aim: Analyzing the association among the knowledge about Diabetes Mellitus, attitudes and food habits of diabetic patients.Method: A cross-sectional exploratory study was carried out with 147 diabetic patients registered in the HIPERDIA system of a Brazilian county. Questionnaires about sociodemographic variables, as well as the Diabetes Mellitus knowledge (DKN-A) Attitudes (ATT-19) and Food Frequency (FFQ) questionnaires were applied to these patients.

The Parkinson's disease is characterized by the depletion of dopamine, however, there are strong indicators of interactions among other neurotransmitters in the base nuclei, such as in cholinergic neurotransmition. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of tropicamide, an M4 receptor antagonist, on the mice’s motor behavior induced by inhibition of nitric oxide synthase with L-NOARG. 48 male Swiss mice were subdivided into 6 experimental groups. Each animal was subjected to stereotaxic surgery for implantation of cannulae, in the striatum.

Objective: To discuss the therapeutic workshop as a strategy for the stimulation of the sense organs and to contextualize the problem of drug abuse. Methods: The activities were developed in a Psychosocial Attention Centers for alcohol and other drugs, located in the Northeast of Brazil. The therapeutic workshop was divided into six sessions that took place weekly in the service auditorium, outside pool area, occupational therapy room, group room or cafeteria, lasting one hour, and a sense organ was worked out for a meeting.
