Performance evaluation of ofdm system using convolution code under awgn, rayleigh and rician channel

Fourth-generation wireless communication system focus on two techniques which are, MIMO (Multiple Input and Multiple Output) and OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) this paper demonstrates performance of BER of OFDM system using convolution code which used to encrypt the data stream that can be sent over communication channels, for different digital modulation schemes (8QAM, 16QAM, 32QAM and 64QAM) simulations in Matlab has been done for three different channels (AWGN , Racian and Rayleigh) , The obtained results show that 8QAM has good performance compared to other digital mo

Sensory, chemical and nutritional characterization of sweet potato submitted to cooking process in water immersion

The study aim was to evaluate the sensory acceptability and the chemical and nutritional composition of different Brazilian sweet potato cultivars cooked under water immersion, in order to identify the most favorable genotypes for consumption. The cultivars varieties analysed were Amorano, Júlia, Valentina, UGA 29, UGA 34, UGA 45, UGA 49, UGA 79, UGA 80 e UGA 81. Species of sweet potatoes Júlia, UGA 45 e UGA 49 have shown higher sensory acceptability (p<0.05).

Clinical presentation of patients with acute appendicitis and factors associated with delayed presentation at yekatit 12 medical college hospital

Background: Acute appendicitis is one of the commonest surgical abdominal emergencies. Delayed presentation leads to complications. Different factors are responsible for delayed presentation. Objective: The study was conducted to assess the clinical presentation and factors responsible for delayed presentation in patients with acute appendicitis at Yekatit 12 Medical College Hospital. Methods: A retrospective analysis of patients with clinical diagnosis of acute appendicitis from September 1, 2013 to August 31, 2016. Results: The male to female ratio was 2.3:1. The mean age was 20.2 years.

Canjiqueira fruit jelly: sensory evaluation and stability during storage

This study aimed to evaluate the physical, chemical, microbiological and sensory characteristics of jelly obtained of green (GFJ) and ripe fruits (RFJ) of canjiqueira (Byrsonima cydoniifolia A. Juss), and verify changes during storage. Common-type jellies were made, sensorial characterized and later stored at room temperature (30°C), being analyzed just after processing and every 45 days for 135 days for pH, soluble solids, titratable acidity, color and microbiological parameters (mesophilic bacteria, yeasts and molds, and Salmonella spp.).

Pm narendra modi schemes: agriculture sector, small farmers and irrigation development

This paper examines the PM Narendra Modi Schemes of small holding agriculture sector in India. It covers trends in agricultural growth schemes participation of small holding agriculture scheme, Irrigation, productivity performance of small holders, linking small holders with markets including value chains, role of small holders in enhancing food security and employment generation scheme differential irrigation polices and institutional support scheme for small holders, challenges and future options for small holding agriculture sector scheme including information needs.

Study on economic feasibility of intercropping of kinnow (citrus reticulata blanco) with legume crops in the sub tropical region of Punjab

An experiment was carried out to study the production potential and economic feasibility of inter-cropping kinnow and legume crops at the nursery of Department of Horticulture, Khalsa College, Amritsar during 2016-2017.The productivity of the intercropping systems was found to differ significantly. The highest gross return was obtained from the kinnow + pea intercropping system and the lowest gross return was obtained from kinnow + coriander. The highest benefit - cost ratio (2.41) was recorded in kinnow + pea intercropped followed by T4 (2.05) and T5 (1.79).

Epidemic of dengue and the occurrence of early neonatal death: an ecological study

The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effects of dengue virus infection in pregnancy from 2007 to 2016. For this study we used data from the notification systems for live births and mortality in a Brazilian municipality of approximately 900 thousand inhabitants. Epidemic years were compared to endemic years, with rates related to clinical-obstetric and pediatric outcomes being calculated. Statistical difference was found for the coefficient of early neonatal mortality, which presented higher values in the epidemic years for dengue compared to the endemic years.

Bell pepper performance with recycled nutrient solution

Mexican growers of greenhouse bell pepper (Capsicum annum L.) have adopted productions systems developed for other countries with climatic and socioeconomic conditions different from Mexico. This study examines the effects of different soilless systems on yield and nutrient solution use of bell pepper under low technology greenhouse in Tehuacan, Puebla, South Central Mexico. The experiment design was a complete random block with four repetitions; the experimental unit was 3 m2 which included 9 plants.

Biochemical and histological parameters in induced type 2 diabetic rats fed with high fat diet without exogenous cholesterol and low-dose streptozotocin

The objective of the present study is to establish a rat model for diabetic type 2 (T2DM) fed with high fat diet without addition of exogenous cholesterol and low streptozotocin (STZ) dose aiming higher survival rate under the local experimental conditions for evaluating sources of biodiversity to supply alternative energy for T2DM individuals mainly from the Pantanal (wet land) and the Savanna-like area (Cerrado) of the Mato Grosso do Sul State.

Impact of different crop establishment techniques and varieties on cgr, rgr, nar and yield of hybrid rice

Rice is the most important staple food crop in the world and a major food grain for more than a third of world’s population (Prasertsak and Fukai, 1997). About 40% of world population uses rice as a major source of calories. The use of hybrid rice is a new development in India. Hybrid rice is the commercial rice crop from F1 seeds of cross between two genetically dissimilar parents.
