Mental health of the lgbtqia+ population from the perspective of Abraham Maslow's theory of human motivation
Introduction: The discussion about the importance of mental health for the LGBT+ population is in the light of the expanded concept of health and interacts with the doctrinal principles of universality, integrality and equity of the Unified Health System (SUS). The health of the LGBT+ population has particularities and vulnerabilities that demand differentiated attention and much has been focused on issues involving the mental health of this population. Objective: to analyze the mental health of the LGBTQIA+ population in light of Abraham Maslow's Theory of Human Motivation.
