Resumo: O ambiente hospitalar é um espaço de muita importância na sociedade civilizada, principalmente porque o bem-estar em saúde é uma preocupação humana. Assim a prevalência das lesões por pressão (LPP) tem crescido nos últimos anos, justamente pela ocorrência de comorbidades nos indivíduos mais idosos, que por muitas vezes se encontram acamados de forma irreversível.

Objective: To describe the number of confirmed cases and deaths by COVID-19 in the State of Maranhão. Descriptive, documentary and retrospective study, using secondary data extracted from the COVID-19 Epidemiological Bulletin of the State of Maranhão from April 1st to September 30th. The following were considered: confirmed cases of COVID-19, deaths by age group, date of occurrence, associated comorbidities. The data are public and are available in the health system's online bulletins. There were 173,564 confirmed cases and 3,756 registered deaths.

This paper aimed to analyze the hygienist strategies adopted by the Council of Ministers of Health of Central America (CMHCA), in the context of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic and to describe the epidemiological profile of COVID-19 in such territory during 2020. A mixed study (quantitative and qualitative) was carried out. Firstly, we opted for a research framed in the mixed ecological type (of time series and multiple groups), of descriptive nature and with quantitative bias (to describe the epidemiological behavior of COVID-19).

O projeto teve por objetivo promover educação em saúde para cuidadores de crianças do município de Pesqueira – PE. O estudo abordou a pedagogia da problematização como percurso metodológico, construindo o conhecimento a partir das situações-problemas vivenciadas pelos participantes. The aim of this study is to find out the effect of different intensities of aerobic exercises on selected blood lipids among diabetic patients. Randomly selected 60 (N=60) diabetic patients whose blood glucose levels were more than 140 mmHg and who were undergoing treatment for diabetics in Government General Hospital, Nagercoil were treated as subjects for this study. They were randomly assigned into four groups consisting of 15 in each group.

Objetivou-se identificar o perfil epidemiológico dos casos de Tuberculose no estado da Paraíba, compreendendo todos os 223 municípios.A metodologia utilizada foi análise descritiva com uma abordagem transversal, retrospectivo e quantitativo, compreendendo os dados de notificação para tuberculose referente aos anos de 2015 a 2018, com utilização de regressão logística múltipla, para associação entre a variável dependente e as independentes.
