Postoperative physical therapy rehabilitation of patients with anterior cruciate ligament injury - A Bibliographic Review
The knee joint is considered a complex structure, which provides stability and mobility, which is composed of bone, muscle and ligament structures. ACL rupture causes knee joint instability with excessive internal rotation and anterior tibial translation, especially when reaching the last degrees of extension, causing limitations in activities of daily living. This work aims to show the effectiveness of physiotherapy in the treatment of ACL injuries.
