Introduction: The presence of a hepatic peduncle in the right lobe is characteristic of an accessory lobe called the Riedel lobe. This lobe is an anatomical anomaly prevalent in females. Objective: To acquire knowledge of the anatomical anomaly, the objective was to conduct a study of the morphological characteristics of the Riedel lobe in a formalized corpse. Methods: The work is based on a descriptive and observational study. The sample consisted of a formalized male corpse from the Human Anatomy Laboratory of the University of Brazil.

Introduction: Photodynamic Therapy has emerged as a treatment option for cancer, especially in the early stages. The therapy is based on the activation of a photosensitive agent through light radiation, forming reactive oxygen molecules that will react with the tumor cells, causing their death. Objective: The objective of this study was to conduct a literature review study on photodynamic therapy in the treatment of esophageal cancer.

Introduction: In the context of mental health and its relationship to work, current working hours are longer and standardized. Shift work is prevalent worldwide. It is estimated that approximately 15-20% of employers use a work shift system in industrialized countries around the world. Shift work may be associated with mental health. In addition, authors have recently published a secondary analysis of data provided by the Burnout Project, Motivation and Job Satisfaction, examining the associations between unnecessary work tasks and a decrease in mental health.

O transplante de órgãos e tecidos é uma alternativa terapêutica segura e eficaz no tratamento de diversas doenças terminais. O objetivo do estudo foi avaliar o conhecimento dos profissionais de enfermagem sobre condutas prioritárias frente ao potencial doador de órgãos. Trata-se de uma pesquisa exploratória, descritiva, com abordagem quantitativa. A amostra foi constituída por profissionais de enfermagem de duas unidades de terapia intensiva adulto, uma pediátrica e sala vermelha. Utilizou-se um questionário autorrespondido para coleta.

Neurofibromatosis is an autosomal dominant genetic disorder classified as one of the most frequent neurocutaneous syndromes. Surgical interventions should be performed when the function is compromised due to the presence of tumor or for aesthetic reasons. The aim of this study was to report the clinical and radiographic aspects of Neurofibromatosis type 1 diagnoses (NF1) and therapeutic procedures. Aims and Objectives: An interesting case report of a large ballotable mass due to Giant Hydronephrosis. Introduction: Giant hydronephrosis has been defined as kidney that occupies a hemiabdomen, which meets or crosses the mid¬line and which extends at least 5 vertebrae in length. Its prevalence has increased worldwide, raising the need to investigate behaviors and factors associated with excessive weight at early ages so as to create subsidies for prevention and health education actions. To analyze excessive weight and its association with cardiovascular and behavioral factors in young adults in schools. Methods: Analytical, quantitative study with 1073 young adults from 52 schools.

Introdução: As teorias de enfermagem dão suporte ao enfermeiro no que concerne as definições dos papéis na execução da assistência de enfermagem. Para implementação de uma teoria é essencial o uso de um método científico a exemplo do Processo de Enfermagem. Objetivo: Identificar os modos fisiológico, autoconceito, função de papel e interdependência do modelo de adaptação de Roy na rotina dos pacientes assim como elencar diagnósticos e intervenções de enfermagem na assistência a clientes com tuberculose pulmonar durante internação hospitalar.

A queda em idosos é considerada um problema de saúde pública e suas complicações acarretam danos emocionais e físicos podendo gerar alterações na mobilidade e até levar a óbito, além de causar gastos com internação.
