Objective: to analyze the influence of serum sodium (sNa) on heart rate variability (HRV) in chronic dialytic renal patients. Methods: cross-sectional study with comparative approach with subjects undergoing maintenance hemodialysis and a control group. Resting HRV, in time (TD) and frequency domain (FD) analysis, and evaluation of biochemical markers of renal function were performed.The volunteers were allocated into three groups: normotremia dialysis group (NDG), hyponatremia dialysis group (HDG) and a control group (CG).

Doença cerebral crônico-degenerativa, progressiva e irreversível, o Alzheimer, torna o paciente dependente de um cuidador, por ter sua integridade física, mental e social afetada.Considerada a mais comum e prevalente entre idosos, a mesma não tem cura, contudo a terapêutica empregada retarda a sintomatologia. Apresenta etiologia multifatorial com características neuropatológicas e neuroquímicas específicas.Com isso, o cuidador deve compreender a progressão clínica da doença e assim assistir o paciente integralmente.

Introduction: Biosafety aims to promote infection control measures to protect the health team, academics and the community against exposure to potentially pathogenic biological agents. Objective: to analyze the scientific evidence available in the literature that refer to the teaching and knowledge of nursing students about biosafety. Method: integrative literature review using the LILACS, MedLine, Scielo, BDENF and PubMed databases. Publications from January 2000 to June 2018 were used.

Objetivo: Analisar o conhecimento e prática dos Enfermeiros (as) sobre a estratégia AIDPI e sua contribuição para redução dos principais agravos à saúde infantil em menores de cinco anos em Imperatriz - MA. Método: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, com abordagem quantitativa, caracterizada como pesquisa bibliográfica, na forma de estudo de campo realizada com 40 enfermeiros que se enquadraram segundo os critérios de avaliação da pesquisa através do preenchimento de um questionário estruturado que contemplaram os dados sociodemográficos e específicos da estratégia AIDPI.

Objective: To describe the methodological development process of making an educational video in health. Materials and Methods: Methodological study of health educational video development using a model consisting of pre-production, production and post-production phases. It used the theoretical framework composed of three steps, namely: pre-production, which includes the elaboration of the synopsis, theme, script and storyboard; production and post-production.

Objective: To analyze the self-esteem of pregnant women admitted to the high-risk ward of a reference hospital in the city of Recife. Materials and Methods: This is a cross-sectional, descriptive study with a quantitative approach. The sample population included 112 pregnant women.Data collection was performed through a form adapted from the version in the Brazil of the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES), plus socioeconomic, obstetric and reproductive questions.

This study aimed to evaluate the knowledge of elderly patients in a primary health unit in the municipality ofPacajus, Ceará, about their drug prescription. To this end, the research followed the precepts of the inductive method, due to its empirical gender, based on field research. Regarding the objective, this is a descriptive exploratory study.
