High-Functional Self-Lubricating Excipient Performance Comparison with Physical Blend

A microcrystalline cellulose-based excipient having improved lubrication sensitivity and flowability, whether utilized in oral solid dosage forms, in direct compression, wet and dry granulation tablet manufacturing, or hard capsule filling and dry syrup formulation. Self-lubricating excipient BARETab Lub is an agglomerate of microcrystalline cellulose particles and from 0.1 to 0.8 % lubricant Magnesium stearate, by weight of the Microcrystalline cellulose, wherein the microcrystalline cellulose and magnesium stearate particles are in intimate association with on each other.

Role of knowledge engineering in an organization

This article deals with the concept of knowledge engineering, knowledge systems, the need for a knowledge engineering methodology, the common KADS suite of models and roles of knowledge-engineering projects. It has been pin-pointed that knowledge engineering provides the methods to obtain a thorough understanding of the structures and processes used by knowledge workers- even where much of their knowledge is tacit-leading to a better integration of information technology in support of knowledge work.

Effects of sources and levels of silicon on chemical properties and nutrients availability of soil at harvest of garlic

The field experiment entitled "Effect of sources and levels of silicon on Chemical Properties and Nutrient availability of Soil at Harvest of Garlic " was conducted during Rabi season. at All India Co-ordinated Research Project, Department of Horticulture, Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri with a view to study the effect of sources and levels of silicon on Chemical Properties and Nutrient availability of Soil at Harvest of Garlic. The present investigation was carried out in Factorial Randomized Block Design (FRBD).

Storytelling and public engagement in Brazil: TV coverage on regenerative medicine

Public access to media contributes to public understandings of science and medicine. This paper explored patterns in television coverage on Brazilian regenerative medicine, as presented in You Tube videos that reproduce some of the main recent scientific and medical news in TV national or regional programmes regularly broadcast at peak times. The study built upon the coproduction approach to civic epistemologies in an emerging economy – i.e. the way the wider public makes sense of public policies and demands proof of their validity, as well as, verification of their implementation.

Uso da inteligência artificial na segurança contra incêndio em sistema solar fotovoltaico

Photovoltaic solar energy, especially in the form of Distributed Generation (DG), plays an essential role in the global energy matrix, including the Brazilian scenario. This article aims to analyze the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in fire safety in photovoltaic solar systems, focusing on improving and optimizing prevention, detection and response processes to fire-related incidents.

Artificial intelligence -driven adaptive infrastructure for urban mobility

This research paper investigates the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the development of adaptive infrastructure for urban mobility. With urbanization trends intensifying, cities are facing escalating challenges in traffic management, public transportation efficiency, and environmental sustainability. Leveraging case studies from cities globally, including Singapore, London, and Helsinki, the paper explores how AI technologies are revolutionizing urban transportation systems.

A Importância da Assistência de Enfermagem ao Portador de Hanseníase na Atenção Básica

Introduction: Leprosy is one of the oldest infections in the world, caused by Mycobacterium leprae and is considered a major public health problem due to the large number of people affected and its high disabling rate. Materials and Methods: This is a descriptive study, a bibliographic review on the importance of nursing care for people with leprosy in primary care, using the Virtual Health Library (VHL), Google Scholar and Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO) databases), using the following descriptors: Leprosy. Nursing Assistance. Basic Health Care.

Theory of Optimisation for Projects

Knowledge of the critical path and the degree of criticality and sensitivity of the task time is a specific problem requiring further research. Until now, there is no specific procedure to resolve resource contentions and general optimisation method due to its complexity (Herroelen, 2001) & (Penga & Huangb, 2013). The major result the author presents is a revision of the critical chain project scheduling process model by Tukel et al. (2006).

Effects of Smartphone Multitasking on Dynamic Balance

Background: Balance plays an important role while performing functional activities such as walking and everyday tasks. However, distractions may affect the balance. Earlier studies have found that using smartphone functions during functional activity affects the dynamic balance. However, very few Studies have been done to find out the effects of smartphone multitasking on dynamic balance while performing the Y-Balance test. Purpose of the study: The purpose of the study was to determine the effects of smartphone multitasking on dynamic balance while performing the Y-Balance test.
