The correspondence between emptiness, dependent origination, and Nirvāna in early Buddhist Literature
Śūnyatā has been one of the central themes in the large corpus of the teachings of the Buddha. Furthermore, it is presented in various ways in different discourses of Buddhist Sūtras, giving one the freedom to interpret its intended connotative meaning. This research, therefore, aims to look deeper into the correspondence between the concepts of Dependent Origination, Nirvāna, and Emptiness on the model of a comparative study of the Pāli and Chinese texts.
