The correspondence between emptiness, dependent origination, and Nirvāna in early Buddhist Literature

Furthermore, it is presented in various ways in different discourses of Buddhist Sūtras, giving one the freedom to interpret its intended connotative meaning. This research, therefore, aims to look deeper into the correspondence between the concepts of Dependent Origination, Nirvāna, and Emptiness on the model of a comparative study of the Pāli and Chinese texts.

A licensing plan for coupling nuclear–renewable hybrid energy systems

South Africa committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 34% below "Business As Usual" levels by 2020 and 42% by 2025 at the Copenhagen climate change conference. However, global energy demand was projected to rise due to population and industrial growth, with energy usage expected to increase by 13% through 2040. In South Africa, a steady increase in electricity demand prompted the government to implement a new growth path (NGP), which prioritized job creation in all economic policies, including energy.

Buddha and nature as depicted in Aśvaghoṣa’s buddhacarita

This paper emphasizes the deep interdependence of nature and the Buddha as depicted in Buddhacarita of Aśvaghoṣa Bodhisattva. The text contends that the Buddha was inextricably linked with the natural world throughout his life. Nature is the Buddha's ally in the path to enlightenment, cultivating a deep regard for nature's extraordinary beauty and diversity. The accounts of the Buddha's life in Buddhacarita are difficult to divide between stories, facts, and myths. Many plants, flowers, animals, and trees are linked to Buddha's life story.

Convolução como um apelo da natureza

In this manuscript, we show in an educational way, how the operation known as convolution works. This is an important subject as it has a relevant physical appeal. At first, we will discuss the sampling concept where we will briefly focus on the decomposition of signals through a function known as impulse function. We address the impulse function and talk about the peculiarities of its representation in the discrete domain.

A methodology for the present acumen of knowledge on theory of optimisation for projects

Knowledge of the critical path and the degree of criticality and sensitivity of the task time is a specific problem requiring further research. Until now, there is no specific procedure to resolve resource contentions and general optimisation method due to its complexity (Herroelen, 2001) & (Penga & Huangb, 2013). The major result the author presents is a revision of the critical chain project scheduling process model by Tukel et al. (2006).
