Congruence, personality and centrality in small organization social networks

Objective: To analyze the associations between congruence, personality and centrality in two intra-organizational networks: search for support and selection of professional teams. Originality: Investigate how person-environment adaptation works in work groups using social networks. Method: 61 professionals linked to a tertiary sector organization participated.

The effects of automobile emission nitrogen dioxide (no2) on the environment in taraba state, nigeria

This study was designed to investigate The Effects of Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) Emission on The Environment in Taraba State, Nigeria, The research were conducted in five (5) days and readings were taking morning, afternoon and evening at roads where there is high traffic concentration in the six study areas. Q-Rae Plus Multi-gas Monitor was used to collect data on NO2.

Development of steel for hot stamping of 22mnb5 steel by joule effect heating

With the increase in demand and development of the automobile sector, where it becomes important to improve the efficiency of energy consumption of vehicles, one can observe the need for materials that are both light and have high mechanical strengths. The Ultra High Strength Steel (UHSS), which include TWIP (Twinning-Induced-Plasticity) and Hot Stamping are characterized by unique microstructures and metallurgical properties that allow car manufacturers to meet the diverse functional requirements of vehicles. Boron steel is suitable for mechanical hot forming.

Congruence, personality and homophily/heterophily interactions

Objective: The purpose of the study was to verify if personality characteristics and congruence are associated with homophily and heterophily in two intraorganizational networks: Support Network and Team Selection Network. Method: a survey-type cross-sectional study in which 61 professionals belonging to a single organization of the third sector with a focus on industry participated. The participants responded to three instruments: an inventory of professional interests and occupational demands, for estimation of congruence, personality measure, and two sociometric questions.

Newreader: Um aplicativo para auxiliar a tomada de decisão de pessoas com baixa visão

This work focused on the development of the Newreader application, which consists of software that makes use of machine learning techniques for the benefit of people with visual impairments or people with low vision. In this way, Newreader presents itself as a powerful tool to assist the decision making of these people, facilitating access to information by reading aloud texts present in any element around them through the camera of the mobile device.

Robust control of aircrafts using linear matrix inequalities

This article presents a new method for robust control of aircraft dynamic models using linear matrix inequalities and pole placement. The models are written in the form of polytopes, that describes the dynamic system linearized around some operating point. By using ljnear matrix inequalities, different control requisites, such as pole placement at different regions of the complex plane and norm minimization, can be grouped in one structure.

Lithofacies and paleoenvironments of cored deposits of the albian reservoirs in the abidjan margin (offshore of Côte D’Ivoire Basin)

Sedimentary reservoirs describe facies that characterise architectural segments of the basin. For example, channels and alluvial fans are the main silicoclastic depositional environments. Thus to some extent these sites have hydrocarbon potential. The analysis of the hydrodynamic mechanisms behind their emplacement and their potential was carried out using oil drill cores. They were exhumed between 6500 and 10000 feet, i.e. between 1981 and 3048 m deep in the Abidjan Margin, Gulf of Guinea province in Côte d'Ivoire. The facies is based on lithological, ichnological and mechanical criteria.

Mixed convection boundary layer nanofluid flow over an inclined stretching cylinder with thermal radiation

Lecturers Present article classifies the influence of mixed convection boundary layer MHD flow of nanofluid (Ag/ Cu-H2O) through porous stretching cylinder in the presence of thermal radiation. The governing non-linear PDE’s are reducedtoODE’s with boundary conditions by using similarity transformations. The numerical method known as Runge – Kutta fourth order has been taken in to account with shooting technique to solve the obtained ODE’s with assisting boundary conditions.
