The instructional role perception of working college of education is high. The rank order preference of the different value pattern shows that the teachers working in college of education have given first preference for political value followed by religious, social, aesthetic, economic and theoretical value respectively.
The Present investigation has been under taken in order to study the environmental knowledge of school teachers in Cuddalore District. Environmental Knowledge of school teachers scale was constructed and validated by the investigators (2011) has been administrated to a random sample of 300 higher secondary school teachers. It is found that there is a significant difference between BT teachers and PGT teachers and there is no significant difference between male and female teachers, and school teachers in the rural and urban area on their environmental knowledge.
This study is an attempt to develop two multidimensional between-group inequality measures by reviewing two multidimensional interpersonal inequality measures. These measures of multidimensional between-group inequality are characterized and applied on Indian data to assess between-group inequality in household monthly per capita consumer expenditure and educational achievement across fourteen major states of India.
