Estresse, ansiedade e resiliência: estudo correlacional com adultos e jovens brasileiros

A presente pesquisa teve como objetivo verificar possíveis correlações entre estresse, ansiedade e resiliência em jovens adultos brasileiros. O estudo contou com 144 participantes sendo 107 (74.3 %) do sexo feminino e 37 (25,7%) do sexo masculino. Quanto a faixa etária os participantes tinham entre 18 a 30 anos (M= 22,17, DP=2,72). Para coleta de dados foram utilizados: Questionário Sociodemográfico, Escala de Estresse Percebido (PSS-10), Escala de Depressão, Ansiedade e Estresse (DASS-21) e Escala de Resiliência de Wagnild e Young.

Multidisciplinary patient care after treatment of acute myocardial infarction

The objective was to analyze the scientific production on multidisciplinary care for patients after treatment of Acute Myocardial Infarction. Methodology: Trata-se de um estudo bibliográfico, que visa apontar indicadores cada vez mais confiáveis. As buscas foram realizadas nas bases de dados National Library of Medicine, Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences Information System, Virtual Scientific Electronic Library Online, Web of Science e Scopus, atualizadas em abril de 2022.

Florence nightingale's environmental theory and the model proposed by johnson and webber: nursing facing a theoretical reflection

The objective was to reflect on Florence Nightingale's Environmental Theory and the model proposed by Johnson and Webber. Reflective and theoretical study carried out in January and April 2022. Analysis of the theory based on eight criteria: meaning, limits, language, concepts, formulation of propositions, variables and hypotheses, theoretical knowledge helps to explain and predict the phenomenon and theoretical knowledge influences nursing practice.

Influence of performance-based financing on the health system in south kivu province: a quasi-experimental study between katana and kalehe health zones in South Kivu

Health actors in low-income countries like the Democratic Republic of Congo are paying increasing attention to performance-based financing. This system aims to improve the qualitative and quantitative performance of healthcare services. Its purpose is to make essential health care of good quality accessible to all with the participation of the community. With the sensitization of the Health Committees, this system should increase the rate of use of health services by patients and in this case the Health Units should increase their own revenue.

Determinants of knowledge and practice of breast self-examination for detection of Breast Cancer among women in Kisumu County, Kenya

Background: Breast self-examination (BSE) is a simple, low-cost, and non-invasive method that women use to detect breast cancer at early stages. BSE is recommended for teenage and adult women as it helps to detect unusual swelling and lumps. The early intervention reduces the spread of cancer cells and improves health outcomes. This study assessed the determinants of knowledge and practice of BSE for early detection of breast cancer among women attending maternal health clinic at JaramogiOginga Teaching and Referral Hospital (JOOTRH), Kisumu County in Kenya.

Population in street situation in times of covid-19pandemic: public health policies in a capital of the amazon region

It is estimated that 221,869 people are unassisted by public authorities and homeless in Brazil. Discriminated, invisible and in increased exposure to risks of accidents and diseases. The emergence of Covid-19 impacted on increased unemployment, forcing entire families to live on the streets, explaining the need for the government to act through emergency policies and measures to ensure protection.

Effects of replacement of ascorbic acid in patients undergoing hemodialysis: A Clinical trial

Context: Anemia is common in patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis treatment, and oxidative stress and persistent inflammatory state are important for its genesis. Ascorbic acid, a known antioxidant, can serve as an adjunct to your management. Objective: to evaluate the effect of intravenous ascorbic acid’s replacement in chronic renal patients undergoing hemodialysis.

Awareness of women about aspects of early detection of breast cancer

Study with the objective of analyzing the knowledge available in the scientific literature on women’s awareness about early detection of breast cancer. This is an integrative literature review. Data collection was performed at the Virtual Health Library and PubMed Central. The association of the Boolean operator “AND” with the following controlled descriptors extracted from MeSH and Decs was used: “Breast neoplasms”, “Awareness” and “Early Detection of Cancer”. Scientific articles in Portuguese and English published between 2019 and 2021were included.

The study of the pharmacokinetic predisposition and insilico metabolism of geraniol

Essential oil is one of the most used plant products in drug strategies and complementary treatments. Pharmacologically, they are known for their anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory potential, etc. The geraniol (GE) essential oil, found in plants such as: citronella, orange, "palmarosa" and geranium, has several therapeutic purposes through its regulation of multiple signaling pathways biological processes. Biological targets and bioavailability were analyzed using Swiss ADME software, based on the interaction of the molecule with cytochrome P450 enzymes.
