Brazil is the largest producer of passion fruit in the world. However, production in the state of Mato Grosso is one of the lowest in the country and this is due mainly to the lack of genetically enhanced cultivars suitable for growing in the region. This study aimed to compare the performance of five commercial cultivars of Passiflora edulis Sims grown under the specific environmental conditions of Cáceres, a leading fruit production hub in Mato Grosso. The experiment was of a randomized block design with a 3 x 3 m configuration and comprised five P.

This work presents a tool developed to assist decision making for maintenance and replacement of assets based on the determination of priority equipment in a renovation plan. Different data sources and multi-criteria evaluation were used in an integrated way, focusing on individual distribution substation equipment.

Ackee is an African, Caribbean and American tree plant belonging to a family (sapindaceae), widely cultivated throughout the tropical and subtropical regions for its edible fruit. The name ackee is derived from the original name Ankye which come from a Ghanaian Twi language and given the botanical name: Blighia Sapida, named after a Brit captain William Bligh in 1793 for taking the plants fruit from Jamaica to England. Ackee has a special place in the cultures of Caribbeans and Africans because of its food medicinal applications.

O presente trabalho se propõe a discutir sobre as implicações do cabelo (ou de sua ausência) para a imagem de mulheres em tratamento de câncer de mama. Nesse direcionamento, não apenas refere-se à alopecia como a perda dos cabelos e qualquer outro pelo do corpo como as sobrancelhas, os pelos axilares, pubianos e/ou das pernas e braço, mas sobretudo as suas implicações simbólicas no meio social brasileiro, haja vista que estamos vivendo na era da imagem e das representações do eu.

O concreto celular (ou concreto espumoso) é um tipo de concreto leve que utiliza a incorporação de bolhas em sua massa cimentícia para diminuir sua massa específica mantendo seu volume. Essas bolhas são adicionadas através de aditivos incorporadores de ar que possuem a função de formar bolhas estáveis, homogêneas e de tamanho apropriado para este tipo de concreto. Alinhado ao aditivo, também se faz uso em concreto celular da substituição parcial ou total de agregados, com o objetivo de aumentar a força de resistência.

Introduction: A burn is a tissue injury caused by heat in any of its forms. It is one of the most invasive and devastating traumas that can affect human beings. In some situations, it can evolve with certain frequency to more serious situations or even cause death. Objective: To identify in the literature the care provided by nurses to burn patients in hospital emergency services. Methodology: This is an integrative literature review.

In December 2019, several cases of pneumonia of unknown origin were confirmed, reported in Wuhan, China. The disease was then identified as covid-19, an RNA virus, now referred to as severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS-CoV-2). The first cases in China had a common clinical manifestation of fever, cough, myalgia, fatigue, and dyspnea, with organ dysfunction (e.g., acute respiratory distress syndrome - ARDS, shock, heart disease, and acute kidney damage) and death in severe cases.

As ideias discutidas neste artigo são resultados dos dados obtidos numa pesquisa empírica realizada em vinte e seis escolas em áreas urbanas dos Municípios: Presidente Figueiredo, Rio Preto da Eva, Urucurá e Manaus por alunos do Curso de Especialização em “Educação, Pobreza e Desigualdade Social” da UFAM, com o objetivo de obter dados para a construção do Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso deles. Porém, focamos nossas reflexões nos dados obtidos nas escolas que atendem alunos matriculados nos Anos Iniciais do Ensino Fundamental no município de Manaus/capital.

Six experiments were conducted to evaluate the effects of abiotic factors of bittergrass: temperature (15, 20, 25, 30, 35 °C), light (0/24, 8/16, 12/12, 16/8, 24 / 0 hours, being light regimes / dark cycle), pH (4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9), osmotic stress (0, - 0.1, -0.3, -0.6, -0, 9 Mpa), salt concentration (0, 20, 40, 80, 160 and 240 mM), conducted in laboratory (DIC) and planting depth (0, 2, 4, 8 and 12 cm), conducted in greenhouse (DBC). The data were submitted to analysis of variance using the program and SigmaPlot e Sisvar.
