Effectiveness of deep breathing exercises on the peak expiratory flow rate in adult cigarette retailers exposed to environmental tobacco smoke using mini wright’s peak flow meter

Background: Passive smoking leads to lung impairment and an increased risk of lower respiratory tract illnesses as proven by many studies. Small Cigarette retailers like tea stall and Paan shop owners are exposed to passive Smoking throughout the working hours, and are prone to developing Respiratory Disorders. Aim: To assess the effectiveness of Deep Breathing Exercises on the Peak Expiratory Flow Rate in adult, non-smoking, cigarette retailers using a Peak Flow meter. Method: The study involved 50 Adult, Non-smoking, cigarette retailers exposed to the Environmental Tobacco Smoke.

Characterization of the surface layer modified in ti6-al7-nb alloys by plasma nitriding using cathodic cage

Using titanium as the base metal of biomaterials has gained attention due to its excellent mechanical properties, biocompatibility, and resistance to corrosion and wear. In this research, Ti6-Al7-Nb (wt%) alloy has been superficially modified by cationic cathode plasma nitration (CCN) in order to improve the pre-existing biocompatible characteristics in the alloy. Four treatment conditions and a standard sample, for comparative purposes, were chosen. Nitriding was implemented using a cathodic cage technique at a different time and temperature conditions, and at constant pressure.

Heat transfer in the area

O objetivo dessa Temperature control in computers, mobile devices and other devices is important for their stability. The finite differences method is used to calculate the temperatures in fixed nodes of devices, in the absence of internal heat dissipation and certain boundary conditions of the inner walls.

Refinement of the femoral puncture technique the secret: do not transfix the artery!

Background: The femoral artery has been the standard access route for several decades. However, this access route has been associated with increased rates of vascular complications compared to the radial artery access route. The objectives of this study were to describe vascular complications at femoral access site after puncture without transfixation of the artery. Methods: This a was real-world registry (from January 2017 to August 2019) that enrolled 1000 patients (mean age 56±10years) with stable CAD and clinical indication of coronary angiography.
