The aim of the study was to enunciate the knowledge of nurses who work in pre-hospital care in the actions taken in the face of CPA. It is a field research with a quantitative approach of exploratory descriptive character. A pre-Hospital Urgency and Emergency company in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro was sought as a setting. Twenty nurses with specific contracts who received periodic training in ACLS and 20 nurses who work in the operation where they do not have training in ACLS were interviewed.

The admission to Higher Education represents an important stage for the personal, social and professional evolution of the human being. The objective was to evaluate the specificities of the sociodemographic profile of adult students enrolled at the institution. It is about a quantitative, cross-sectional study and questions that include qualitative aspects. The study was carried out with 103 active adults in higher education, belonging to undergraduate courses. The collections of the data occurred through a sociodemographic form.

A equipe de enfermagem que atua em UTI possui uma rotina ligada diretamente com pacientes graves, podendo observar, constantemente, situações da morte. Consequentemente, a isto podem apresentar diversos sentimento em relação às perdas. Nesse contexto, o presente estudo tem como objetivo realizar um levantamento sobre a percepção de profissionais de enfermagem, a respeito da morte, no contexto da UTI. Para tanto, utilizou-se como método, um estudo descritivo e exploratório com abordagem qualitativa de dados.

The objective of this work was to compare the adhesive strength of the prefabricated fiberglass pin in flat channels by means of the tensile removal force. Método: Revisão Integrativa realizada nas bases de dados: CINAHL, PubMed, Scielo e LILACS. Descritores utilizados: “cuidados paliativos”, “fisioterapia” e “dor” e operador boleano “AND”. Critérios de inclusão: artigos completos, publicados entre 2011 e 2020, em português, inglês e espanhol. 20 artigos foram incluídos na análise quantitativa final.

Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, com abordagem qualitativa realizado no Programa de Extensão Pró-Parkinson, com uma amostra de 20 cuidadores familiares obtida de forma aleatória e conveniente, os quais tiveram suas identidades preservadas através da utilização decodinomes, mais precisamente nomes de pedras.

This is a scope review that aims to map the underreporting of Work Accidents in the Information System on Notifiable Diseases. A search was performed in the databases: CAPES Thesis and Dissertations Catalog; Science Direct; Virtual Health Library and in the Cochhrane Lybrary and Embase databases, with thefollowing eligibility criteria: studies evaluating the notification of work accidents from 2017 to 2021. Mostof the studies found presented a quantitative methodology, with only one being nationwide.

Objective: To identify the existing knowledge about the meanings attributed to life by the elderly at the end of life. Method: Integrative literature review based on searches on the PubMed, Age Line, and the Virtual Library on Health (Bireme-VLH) databases, with a sample composed of at least 50% of the elderly, with progressive and life-threatening diseases refractory to treatment. Results: The study selected a total of 596 articles.

Objective: To identify in the scientific literature the main nursing care for patients on mechanical ventilation. Methods: This was an integrative review carried out in the Virtual Health Library (VHL), allowing simultaneous access to the following databases: Base de dados de enfermagem (BDENF), Índice Bibliográfico EspanholemCiências da Saúde (IBECS) and Literatura Latino-Americana e Caribenhaem Ciências da Saúde (LILACS). The descriptors "mechanical ventilation", "artificial respiration", "nursing care", "nursing" and "critical care" were used.
