Survival and Treatment of Ovarian Lymphoma, Whether Primary or Secondary, with a Focus on DLBCL, Diffuse large b-cell Lymphoma type: A Literature Review Based on the yun et al Study

Object: To describe the treatment and survival of OL (ovarian lymphoma) both primary and secondary. Method: Review of the literature (the study by Yun et al). Discussion: The review points out how the R-CHOP protocol appears to be superior to CHOP alone in terms of response and relapse rate in the case of secondary lymphoma ovarian involvement in DLBCL type. The HyperCVAD regimen is effective in other histotyps.The estimated five-year survival rates for primary and secondary ovarian involvement by DLBCL-type lymphoma are 70.0% and 59.3%, respectively.

Cognitive and Behavioral Characteristics of a Patient with Dubowitz Syndrome

Dubowitz Syndrome is a rare genetic disease and the clinical presentation is mainly characterized by pre and postnatal growth retardation, mental retardation, hyperactivity, eczema, short stature, microcephaly and facial and physical changes. Diagnosis is based on inspection of facial appearance, growth records, clinical observation of behavioral patterns and multiple clinical manifestations. We reported a patient with Dubowitz syndrome diagnosed through clinical-genetic examination treated with multidisciplinary therapies.

Embolization of arteriovenous malformation in infrapatellar arteries using the plug and push technique

Background: Arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) characterized as high-flow, progressive anomalies without spontaneous regression, represent up to 20% of congenital vascular malformations. Peripheral AVMs are uncommon and present a wide range of symptoms. Diagnosis is generally made in adulthood by physical examination associated with angiography, though it may include magnetic resonance angiography and computed tomography angiography. Therapy depends on the stage of the AVM however no gold standard has been established yet.

Prevalence of Dental Disease in 5 -14-Year-Old School Children in Rural Areas of Ahmednagar District, Maharashtra

Background: This initiative is a consequence of the absence of any information on any study being conducted in the past on the prevalence of dental diseases in the Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra. Oral health an essential component of health throughout life. Hardly any information is available on the oral health status of children. Thus, the study was conducted among 5-year-old and 14-year-old children in schools in rural areas of Ahmednagar District.
